Paddock Blade is an efficient and friendly company to deal with. I bought a 2 rail rug drier with which I am very pleased. Delivery was fast and it was even wheeled into place for me. I recommend their rug driers as they cope very well with larger (7') rugs.

I think this is a very good idea and it has saved a lo of time but as with all good ideas there is room for some changes. Unless your horses are turned out on a snooker table there is a lot that the blade misses, I have to get out and shovel what I have picked up to the back because the bar across the front is too low to allow for more than half a load and when it hits a divot the thing bounces up over the droppings and leaves them behind. The front end needs to be much heavier. Aslo being able to pick it up on the 3 point linkage would save having to empety it by hand and might at the same time solve the bouncing problem. Other than that I have used mine a lot and in certainly saves walking back and forth across a 15 acre field.

Used to take me bloody hours to keep my paddocks clean. It was something that I just could never keep up with and often ended up getting put on the back burner. Now it only take me about 20-30 minutes a week something I can much more easily fit into my busy schedule. My worm counts have dropped significantly since being able to stay on top of the task. That’s something that’s very important to me!
