All’s well that ends well. While removing our starter plates, the server accidentally knocked over my glass of red wine which was promptly delivered to my lap, my shoes and the bench I was sitting on. She immediately apologized and brought me another glass. However, being a long-time wine drinker and spiller, I know from experience that a red wine disaster needs to be attended to in a timely manner. As compensation for the rest of my evening being consumed by soaking clothes in my hotel bathtub, my dining companions and I were given 50% off our tab. Thus, the 5 star rating. Oh, and the food was excellent.
