3 generations stayed comfortably at this lovely, spacious house. We loved the balcony from which you can see the sea; the log fire (although we had sunny weather, it was April in England!), the huge upstairs sitting area; the dining table round which we shared much laughter; the easy parking, and the great bedrooms and super bathrooms. We walked to Whitstable (several routes for doing this); went to Herne Bay; and enjoyed a meal at the local pub, with wonderful views to watch the sun going down. A real treat.

We had a fabulous 10 day stay in January. The house is very spacious and immaculately presented. It was a real home from home and felt really comfortable and warm. Everything you need for cooking and eating in and is a only a minutes walk from the beach and only a mile and a half into town where there are many places to eat and drink if you don’t want to cook. You can also get pizza and curry deliveries very easily. We will be back again! Thankyou to the owner who was superb to deal with.

We came to Whitstable for some much needed downtime and left feeling very refreshed. Oyster Shell was perfect - modern, spacious and thoughtfully designed so that the family could be together or spread out and relax in the many different sections of the house. A great test of a holiday home is how much time the family spends at the property during the holiday. We were just as happy to have lazy days at Oyster Shell as we were to explore Whitstable. Handily placed for the beach and for walks into town, the house also benefits from fantastic sea views from the balcony, good privacy and is in a quiet location off Joy Lane. Super stay.
