Stunning little pub/restaurant only stopped for a quick coffee break on our 10km run route but looks very cosy. Walkability: Great for out in the country walks! Bridleways for horses, cycling and running.

The staff and pub was amazing, the food was great and a high quality if not a little pricey. It's set in a little village location with not much else there but it was very nice. Unfortunately the room wasn't what I'd expect. The heating was on high and we couldn't turn it off, and it was all just very basic, the pillows were so flat it was almost pointless using them. Some simple changes and it could be a lovely night stay.

I booked the hotel for its dinner menu,when I arrived I was told by the very unhelpful bar lady that they had given the chef the night off,and the only food they had was crisps or nuts.and there was no shops or restaurants in the village.i explained that I was a type 1 diabetic and needed to eat but she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away.i told her I did not know what I was going to do and went back to my room.the general manager then came to my room with pringles and water,then offered to take me to the next village to get something to eat.i explained I already had emergency food in my bag and would be ok.the manager craig also organised a cab for me and also gave me an alarm call.the unhelpful bar lady said they don't do alarm calls or phone for taxi's.full marks to craig again.on retrospect would give it one more try.But craig some decent staff would make a big difference !!!!. no mobile signal. They offer WiFi, but it's terrible. After connecting, it reported a security risk! Download 0.3mb- upload 240mg. It is strange. I couldn't even make a video call via facebook messenger. Nice room.
