The quality of the coaching is of the highest level. There is just the right mix of fun and learning to keep kids interested and make excellent progression. Group lessons are kept to the right size to allow good participation and the individual lessons my son has had are outstanding and his development has accelerated markedly in a short space of time. Highly recommended.

The junior coaching at Oxshott Village Sports Club is excellent. The coaches are very enthusiastic and keep the children entertained and motivated to improve, whilst also enjoying the sessions and having fun. Small coach to children ratios ensure that they are constantly occupied and hit a lot of tennis balls in a fun way whilst also learning a good technique. My children love their lessons and as a parent who plays tennis, I have been very impressed with the friendly and exceptionally well organised set up and the standard of the coaching. I would thoroughly recommend it.

We have been members at Oxshott Tennis Club for several years. James the head coach runs a great overall program. I have enjoyed various adult group lessons run by Paul M and Lucas B. All 3 of our boys have trained in their well run youth performance program. Our oldest who is most passionate about tennis and competing at a high level trains with Alex Morris. Alex has been integral in advancing our son’s game not only with the fundamentals and mechanics of the game but also on the tactical and mental side of it. I have also had some one on one lessons with Alex M which have been very helpful.

Our son has been playing at Oxshott tennis (OVSC) for 5 years. During this time he has attended group classes, holiday camps & 1:2:1 lessons. The Coaches at the club are all great, a really friendly team & very professional. They are keen to see the children enjoy but also progress in their tennis. Great ‘Performance level’ classes are also available for those children that want to progress their tennis beyond just playing for fun, highly recommend Oxshott tennis!

Excellent junior performance coaching set up at Oxshott. The coaches are very knowledgeable and engaging, finding the right balance between challenge and stretch together with fun and enjoyment for my children. The strength and conditioning sessions are a valuable addition to a very strong programme. Both my daughter & son play in the performance squads. They love it and I am very happy with the professionalism, structure and approach of Alex, James and the coaching team.

I have been a member of Oxshott Tennis Club for over 10 years and have been taught by most of the coaches, either one to one or in the group lessons. I would thoroughly recommend all the coaches and the excellent coaching program. James does a great job as head coach and has brought together the strongest coaching team we’ve ever had in my opinion. They are all friendly, positive and very encouraging. I want to say particular thanks to Alex for making my weekly lesson really enjoyable and bringing the best out of my tennis.
