We couldn't have asked for more from Kevin as our photographer. I first met Kevin almost 10 years ago where he was photographing a friend's wedding and I decided there and then that as and when I got married I wanted him to cover our wedding, and so we were thrilled when he agreed to photograph this year. From the outset Kevin was so helpful, we had a zoom call to get to know each other and define what we wanted. We're not a couple who are super comfortable in front of the camera so we arranged an engagement shoot so we were more relaxed on wedding day, which we are so pleased that we did. Kevin is brilliant to work with, he's organised, timely and is a fantastic communicator that makes all the difference when planning for an exciting but stressful day. He's great at checking in on how the planning process is going and sending helpful hints and tips along the way. We could feel his genuine care and excitement for the day. Kevin is fantastic at capturing the special moments of just the two of us, but also the whole feel of the day. He blends into the background and all of our guests commented on how lovely he was to interact with but you wouldn't have known he was there. We initially met Kevin at a local wedding fair, there were several other photographers at the venue but when we were speaking with Kevin and viewing his work, it was obvious that we wanted him to photograph our wedding day. He showed a genuine interest in us and our day. We felt comfortable right from the get go. In the build up to our wedding, Kevin was very proactive in checking in with us to make sure we were okay and offering help if we needed it at all. Kevin came out to view our venue which is our family farm to get an idea of the layout and photo opportunities which was fantastic as some of the suggestions were brilliant and we would have certainly not thought of them. On our actual wedding day, Kevin excelled in every way. The photos he captured were not only brilliant but he managed to capture them so discretely. He was incredibly accommodating and professional throughout. Nothing we asked was too much trouble. Kevin's friendly and approachable manner helped us enjoy our day even more. The package we bought through Kevin included a wedding album so post editing, Kevin invited us to come and view our photos at his studio. Again this was a fantastic and incredibly enjoyable experience which topped off the whole experience. We have all of our photos on a handy USB as well as our chosen ones in a stunning album. It had been several years since we had family photos taken, and wanted to get it done before Christmas. Kevin was great with scheduling and being flexible, and on the day of the shoot he was amazing. He came prepared to take photos in the muddy woods, wearing rain trousers, and was willing to have fun with the kids, inviting them to play hide and seek and ready to see their favorite play spots. This helped them be comfortable, which really made their personalities come through in the photos. It wasn’t long after the shoot that we received an email with links to our photos, and then Kevin promptly touched up a couple of things in photoshop that we requested. Overall, we are super pleased with our photos, and so glad we went to Potters Instinct Photography for this year’s family photos. We’ll be back!
