The Oxford Tuition Centre is a good local centre which provides educational facilities for mainly ages 5yrs to 19 yrs with outstanding results. My brother was taught there for GCSE in all the main core subjects. The teachers are very friendly and good. I would highly recommend the centre for anyone thinking of enrolling their children there.

Having read your review, sorry to hear of your experience. I am aware that there are two separate tuition classes that run at this centre. The classes that run on a Saturday, are taught by extremely helpful teaching staff collaborated with an excellent exam outcome for pupils! I would gladly and highly recommend Oxford tuition to others.

Hi, I left a review some time ago and have been contacted by the owner of the property today where my sons attended for tutoring lessons. The owner has requested that I remove my review as it does not pertain to the ‘Oxford Tuition’ group which is run by the owner, but rather a separate tuition group in the same building run by, as the owner puts it, ‘a Bangladeshi couple’ Now while I completely understand it’s a separate tuition group altogether, I am upset by the unprofessionalism of the owner who stated on the phone that while she acknowledges the fact that the lady who tutored my son was rude to me in the past, and has been rude to other parents, she states that “she pays rent to her” and therefore has ‘chosen’ to turn a blind eye to the situation. I am infuriated by the fact that the owner has also left comments on here, which have since been deleted, stating she doesn’t know who I am and that I am a northerner who has left reviews about northern companies, and who doesn’t even live in Birmingham! Well I am indeed a northerner; I am Scottish, but lived in Birmingham for many years. If I am unknown to you then why did you call me asking me to remove my review? You continue to hound me with more and more phone calls asking me to remove my reviews and I am becoming agitated by this. Can I ask you kindly to stop. My review is honest and genuine and I do not wish to cause any negativity, but rather address comments previously left on here by the owner stating I was unknown to her. I have nothing against the Oxford Tuition group, but the unprofessionalism by the owner is an apparent issue, and she should have addressed the other tutor’s behaviour and not just allowed her to be rude to others. I have spoken to the owner years ago about this lady’s behaviour at the time but was told back then “I do acknowledge her behaviour but she pays rent to me so what can I do” I’m sorry but you cannot allow her to treat customers like this and it is your responsibility to address the issue. I also notice you’ve been given a 5 star rating around the same time you called me to remove my review. How many calls did you hound the other parent with to persuade her to put a positive comment on here at the back of mine? I bet it was quite a few as my phone hasn’t stopped ringing all week with calls from yourself. Anyway I wish you the best of luck, and perhaps now you will address the issue I mentioned earlier with your tenant so that parents will not be treated in such a disgraceful manner in future if/when they decide to leave the tuition.

I don't know if Oxford Tuition is the same group that runs from 10am until 12pm on a Saturday and Sunday run by Nasreen and her husband on the ground floor. I am aware that there are different groups in the same building at different times, but my review is on the group run by Nasreen and her husband. Nasreen agreed to take my son on for tuition, and was really nice and supportive, but I decided to withdraw him as I felt that one to one tuition was better for him, and the way forward. As soon as I said he was leaving, her attitude totally changed! He had only been there one day, and when I went to collect a refund (as agreed on the phone) she said that I was never allowed to come back for tutoring again and that "when I was out I was out". I was so shocked at how unprofessional these people are. They should have considered my reasons and what was best for my son, but their attitude changed when I asked for my money back, and Nasreen told me I was never allowed to return. Absolutely disgusted at the attitude of Nasreen, who apparently had discussed it with her husband, and they both agreed that after the refund I would never be allowed to have my son tutored again by them. Disgraceful. Boy am I glad I changed tutors. Now my son is being taught by a teacher who actually cares about him and his education, not just money like these two.
