I’ve recently completed Holistic & Therapeutic Massage - Level 3 Diploma at OSM and It’s been one of the best things that I’ve done in my life. I’m ever so grateful that is was Sarah and her team that guided my way into the world of massage. They’ve managed to create such an amazing, friendly and inclusive environment at the same time always keeping very high level of professional competency and specialist knowledge. We’ve gone together through learning massage in the time of Covid and if it wasn’t for Sarah’s dedication, passion and a massive amount of additional work it would be extremely difficult to finish the course. So, if you are doubting if it’s a right decision/time/ place for you to start your adventure with massage, don’t think twice! You can’t find a better place!!

Studying with Oxford School of Massage was all I hoped and so much more. I recently qualified with distinction which I am over the moon about. To get this grade I put in a lot of hard work in but I couldn’t have done it without the constant support and encouragement from the tutors (Sarah and Vicky and inc Head Teacher Mark) The course is good value for money because it’s very in-depth and I feel like I have achieved a very high level of understanding of every aspect of Holistic & Therapeutic Massage. This included thorough Anatomy & Physiology, Business Planning and a First Aid course. Be prepared to work hard but also to have fun with great tutors. OSM has a ‘family’ like feel to it which I loved. I would definitely recommend you beginning your massage journey here!

For me it was a very interesting experience made possible especially by the incredible Vicky Bond. She is truly gifted as a teacher, I appreciated her commitment and the fact that she always understood us, treating us like individuals. She is so passionate and I have to thank her and my colleagues in my group who opened my horizons and my mind. The course itself it spread on period of 2 years that which will give you at the end a certificate in holistic massage, itec level 3, first aid certificate, anatomy an physiology and business awareness. As i recently started practicing on a full time basis the fact that OSM teaches the therapist how to look after themselves and how to maintain a good posture, it is of utmost importance for the health and longevity of the therapist. From my personal and subjective point of view, the OSM course is a great start for further development, due to the fact that if you want to branch out to other areas of health and/or beauty industry it is so much easier than starting from scratch, because all of them ask for an anatomy and physiology certificate and for massage improvement classes level 3 itec. Hope this helps in making a decision.

Without doubt, one of the best decisions I have ever made. Having now fully qualified, I still miss the fun and energising Thursday evenings with such a lovely group of people. Mark, Vicky and the team provide a well structured and well paced course with classes delivered in a warm and inclusive manner and in a calm and peaceful setting. Tutoring is highly professional, supportive and insightful, delivered by the wonderfully engaging and patient Vicky, who helps create a great environment for learning and expression. Classes are relaxed with each part of the body and the requisite practical skills and techniques required, explained, demonstrated and coached both as a group and individually within group sessions. Mark provides further professional support and guidance if there are any worries or uncertainties. Easy to understand online resources are also available to help with home study, which is manageable even for those who, like me, embarked on the course alongside a full time professional job. The OSM approach to massage is holistic and intuitive as well as therapeutic, and each student’s own personality is encouraged in delivering the specific techniques that are taught. Giving time to the practical massage practise is the key. Those uncomfortable movements at the outset quickly become more natural, and as the routine builds and your confidence grows, then the delivery of a massage becomes such a fulfilling and rewarding experience. I’d highly recommend the OSM course if you want quality teaching and are considering holistic and therapeutic massage as a truly rewarding vocation or a career change, or just simply looking to gain a professional qualification to help supplement your income.

This is a wonderful course through which you learn the correct techniques for giving a fantastic whole body massage, which can be adapted and modified for all types of needs. The course is unique in that it really emphasises the importance of self care, teaching correct posture and positioning to avoid any issues with back pain etc which can cause such problems for the massage therapist over time. The course also covers anatomy and physiology, first aid in the workplace and business skills, thus providing you with the perfect basis for starting out as a therapist on qualifying. The course is delivered in small, friendly groups by enthusiastic teachers with plenty of experience, and it really is a lot of fun as well as immensely rewarding. It's hard work too, and it's vital to keep on top of the coursework, but the tutors are always available to help if needed. I highly recommend this course - I've met some great people and gained a qualification which I'm really proud of!

I really enjoyed my time studying at OSM , the classes are never too big and that makes it all feel very friendly and personalised . Don't go into this thinking it will be easy, you need to set aside plenty of time for study, practice, and revision but it is all worth it to come away feeling you are ready to go it alone . I don't think I would have gained the confidence in a larger group and maybe would have struggled. I would defiantly recommend OSM to anyone.
