That's a great golf course. Best golf course I have played. Unfortunately club members or hotel residents only. But worth it, if you are into golf. Also good bar and pool where to go for a swim after a match. Perfect place to take brake from India's crowdyness. Staff helped with everything, BIG thank you 🙏

Course looks great at the moment...almost completely recovered from last year's drought burn out. ( All credit to the greenkeepers!)

I did not play here but I did use the putting green, the green was true and quick, the Greenkeeprs have done an excellent job so far, I'm sire the rest of the course is in fantastic condition. I then went in for a coffee and sat down to watch some TV, a very relaxing morning. It's a great place to play golf, a very challenging course from.what I can remember (played it back in 85) You won't be dissapointed, a green fee worth paying!

We normally drop in for the big band shows. This time we got the wrong week! Never mind a pleasant couple of hours having a drink with friends.

This place is good for golf. Lots of parking. Every third Thursday of each month is Big Band evening. Where good music and dance happens.

A cracking course. The greens were as good as you could ever hope for, as pure and fast as I've seen at top rated courses. Some really great holes, the course really uses the tapograhy well with some of the par 4s starting from elevated tee boxes requiring accuracy off the tee. Its not the longest course and the front 9 felt quite easy but the back nine showed me its teeth on the way in and put me back in place. The GPS still picks the course up as Southfield and its clear this course has been established some time. Given its situated so close to the centre of Oxford its worth checking out of you are on a weekend break in town.

Cholsey Golf Society recently visited Oxford GC (20th Oct) - it's one of our favourite venues having played there on numerous occasions over the past 22 years - and as usually, it was again, a thoroughly enjoyable day. The golf was a bit up and down (as they say) - Winner achieved 43pts but at the other end, the wooden spoon winner had just 19 pts (stableford). The Course was in excellent condition, especially the greens, although a few of us obviously need glasses as we completely misread the slope/line/pace, taking 4 putts ! The Hospitality was second to none with Steve (the manager) greeting us, as we scoffed a generous bacon roll, with that infectious smile of his and making sure we were all happy too. Lunch could not have been better - huge portion of chicken & ham pie with plenty of veg followed by a delicious brownie with ice cream - everyone left VERY full. It was a great day all round and as for the value - top notch. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Oxford to not only Societies, but any golfer of any standard.
