The grounds are lovely - especially in the summer when all the rose-beds are in bloom - and there's plenty of parking. The buildings date from the 1930s and are somewhat stark, and the Memorial Funeral Room is a bit gloomy. However, they provided a great organist, and the service went very smoothly. The location is also very convenient for any subsequent reception (we went to the Talk House, 5 mins away, which was excellent). Having attended funerals at both venues, on balance I think I prefer this to the more modern S Oxford crematorium, whose grounds are far less mature, and whose surroundings are flat fields.
