Nice items. But not a very helpful shop. Somone wanted to buy a heavy item and asked it to be kept while he collects the car. Not an unreasonable request. They would not reserve it for him even for an hour or keep for him if he paid. Most shops would be more helpful.

For a decent charity store, their secondhand section is too small. However, their main focus is raising money for charity, and hence they sell their own products. Some made my charities in other countries, like the one that produces their Christmas decoration. I found the animal hangers, greeting cards and also the felt rainbow hanger, very charming. If I had more money, my Christmas tree would sport those kinds of hangers, not the boring stuff. Why? You can do good AND be stylish/unique at the same time!

Good place for hunting designer bargains! It is a bit pricey for Oxfam but I still think it's cheaper than some other charity shops nearby.
