Joining Outdoorlads a decade ago was a completely life-changing experience, allowing me to meet lots of amazing people, including life-long friends and a partner, it helped grow my confidence, improved my mental health and allowed give something back to the community as a volunteer leader and coordinator for the group. After 350 events I'm still loving it, meeting new people and having some fantastic times camping, hiking up mountains and indoor climbing.

I've been a member of OutdoorLads for many years now. It's an excellent organisation that helps gay, bisexual and trans men get out more. I've made many great friends and am now a volunteer myself, contributing to the group in many ways that are highly rewarding. You can put as much into the group as you like as a volunteer, the sky is the limit. Or you can be a member and enjoy participating in the various events. Or both. Really wonderful group and well worth giving a try if you are thinking about it.
