I went to this school. I made new friends but then I went to secondary and I realised how enclosed it felt. I was bullied three times and one of those times was being bullied into bullying someone. The person (that I bullied) and I discussed what happened and now we’re good friends. The bully and I aren’t. None of the teachers really did anything to stop this. There was a rare occasion where you would get and understanding teacher who is nice but stern when they need to be. Mr Johnson was a good teacher. He was funny and supportive but when it comes to negative behaviour he would do his job and get on with it. I liked this school though it was a good school to grow up in. My siblings and I all went there. We had a good time apart from those moments. Hopefully, you or anyone you know who is going there has a better time then I did. The pros outweigh the cons

i went to this school and struggled with bullying twice and was not helped at all. the teachers are mostly bad and uncaring apart from a few who really look out for you. Assistant head can be spiteful and believed that i wasn't bullied but that i was doing it for attention

I came to Our Lady of Lourdes School to help two Reception classes with their pirate topic. I was made most welcome by the Headteacher, teachers and all of the staff I met. A lovely school. The children were extremely well behaved, enthusiastic and keen to learn. From my perspective this was a most enjoyable and rewarding visit.
