The food here is tasty, is quite varied & the service is very good. The negative things were the portion sizes for every single dish v the cost. Most of the dishes were easily achievable to make at home & were priced like you were a decent amount. The aubergine dish for about £15 had 3 slices with a little yoghurt & feta. The chicken shawarma with a small pita, a handful of herbs, a bit of hummus & some labneh would have been lucky to have a whole thigh for £18.5. I will say I’m a huge Ottolenghi fan from overseas but his restaurants seem awfully overpriced. For about £60 a head I’ve eaten at loads of other restaurants where the portions were a little more generous. I honestly think the prices should be about a third lower. The two stars are down to the fact the staff were lovely & I caught up with some friends I hadn’t seen in 4 years so I still had a good night.

(Translated by Google) Today was my second time at Ottolenghi. We were really looking forward to our visit, but were unfortunately very disappointed with the service. We were ignored and didn't get the feeling that our waiter took good care of us (e.g. we sat at the table for a long time with empty glasses and weren't asked if we liked it or if we'd like dessert). The price of the food is just too high for that. We paid £90 for 2 people with 4 small portions. Wine prices are very outrageous so we didn't drink wine. Too bad...we had high expectations. Unfortunately I would not come again (Original) Heute war ich zum zweiten Mal im Ottolenghi.

Visited twice, once for breakfast, which was excellent and really great service, dinner was a disappointment, food was okay, but not outstanding as expected for the price, service was ignorant, they didn't ask once if we would like to have another drink, let alone a dessert, would not go there again for dinner.
