Avoid any building who's lifts are developed or "maintained" by Otis. I have never experienced such unreliable lifts in my life. I live on a high floor, and it has gotten to the point where I am too scared to even take the lift up to my apartment. I now just wait for the delivery/cargo lift. Please AVOID OTIS and any buildings that use them.

Absolutely horrible company! I wish I could give zero stars. Our lift has been broken for a month (for the zillionth time) and they can’t sort anything out, not even send an update about when anyone would show up to fix it. I wonder how they get away as they get serious amounts of money.

Absolute shambles of a company. If you are reading this review avoid this company at all costs!! DO NOT USE THEM. I have just moved into a new build apartment and the lift has broken down 3 times in the space of 7 weeks. No one answers the phone. If you are a building firm, AVOID THEM. If you are a potential client AVOID THEM. Bottom line... AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY CAN NOT INSTALL OR RUN LIFTS.

They have left a lift out of order in my apartment block for over a month, the lift has an alarm that goes off every few minutes day and night, which is driving everyone mad. Is this even legal?

2 elevators on a high rise buliding, and both out of order. 1 permanently, the other is being repaired only to fail hours later. We have to climb stairs for 27 floors. Or we are trapped on the 27th floor, and we cannot get food or medication or go to work. This has been going on for months, engineers repeatedly fail to provide a permanent fix, and leave the lifts in a state of disrepair.

If I could give OTIS zero stars I would. They are beyond useless starting from the accounts team and most importantly the repairs/maintenance department. Lift has been out of order for over two weeks in a 6 floor building. Would never install an OTIS lift in any future developments. Avoid like the plague

Possibly the worst company in the UK. They are the contractor for our lift and regularly leave it out of service for months on end. They don't reply to emails and there is no way to get them to come and repair the lift. Avoid at all costs Update: Lift Unit is CE007039 it was out of order for nearly 2 months in July and August last year and has currently been out of order since some time in early - mid June (again for well over a month). All the engineers keep saying is "we're sourcing parts" but it is taking months at a time for them to repair the unit and making it difficult for us to access our own properties in the meantime. Update 2: These absolute jokers appear to be completely incapable of actually fixing a lift. They've still not managed to do anything and are now saying 24th August for the earliest repair (assuming they just don't delay it again). That'll be 2 1/2 months without lift access. Wholly shocking service!
