After being more than flexible and accommodating when asked to work at short notice for this company. Following the loss of my Dad and needing some compassionate leave to help sort things out and work on mental health and be emotionally prepared to return to work. Due to sudden following unforseen personal family circumstances and further loss, I had to resign my post. By being honest and open with these employers about needing to resign my post, they withheld over £650 of my hard earned wages for work completed and thats after all vetting and company uniform amounts. I understand companies charging for or withholding money for uniform and vetting undertaken when candidates start jobs if they dont stop beyond 6months. However withholding wages earned from shifts worked is I feel unacceptable, unwarranted, callous and corrupt. My union and Acas have been informed for unlawful deduction of earnings, I will if necessary persue legal action. I would strongly suggest and do to all friends and colleagues working in security and to you now reading this, register and work with any other agency there are so many better, professional and employee nurturing agencies out there. Run from this less than caring, honest compassionate, responsive and therefore I can only assume corrupt one, insensitive to the mental health and well being of their employees. You are just a number and working ant in their all about the profit for themselves group!
