I called in to get my glasses adjusted as they slip down if I look down and move my head. Lauren was so helpful my glasses were straightened and then adjusted to where they needed to be to suit how I usually wear them. Now they don’t slip if I move my head. Lauren is amazing! .

I have been visiting Osbornes of Evesham for as long as I have needed optometry services. Whilst it is always a friendly and professional staff experience in eye testing and spectacle purchasing, the practice goes above and beyond basic patient care. I have been seen and aided under their emergency system as well as benefiting from the various other services on offer such as audiology, podiatry and facial aesthetics. The genuine warmth and knowledge of the optometrists and assistants is both reassuring and impressive. What’s more, the choice of glasses frames on offer is unbeatable in their range, aesthetics and trends; particularly the brands that are not available anywhere else locally such as Face A Face and Tom Ford. It’s always a pleasure to visit Osbornes- a true gem of a local business.

Having been a customer of this business for sometime I have been to them to renew my glasses and had an eye test done at the same time as I am diabetic. Thought I was happy until I wore the glasses and they were terrible quality. Not only that but there was a specific request not to change my prescription despite a small change as I was really happy with the existing prescription. The optician made this very clear to the person ordering the glasses. Turpin visiting the shop to ask why these new glasses do not work properly it seems that the prescription had been changed despite what the optician said. So what is the point of the optician specifically telling the girl that the prescription should remain the same, she emphasised this and I was there and heard her say it. The girl I saw today just kept telling me that they couldn’t do what the optician said as they are not allowed to. I tried to explain so what is the point of being told in front of me not to make changes when you are going to make the changes anyway and then you keep telling me I am wrong. Would not touch them with a barge pole, they are expensive by comparison and since the new owners have taken over it just has lost perspective.

I have been wearing glasses since the age of 4 and have been a customer at many opticians during my life. Osbornes is by far the best opticians that I have been a customer of. The reason for this is excellent service. All of the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and I always feel that whoever I am communicating with has time to speak to me. In addition to being short sighted, I also have an issue with my eyes that needs more expertise. I have found this at Osbornes and also really value that it is dealt with with empathy and patience. I would definitely recommend this opticians to others.
