A peaceful building tucked away on the university campus. Grade 2 listed, brutalist chapel built by George Gaze Pace in 1967 from reinforced concrete. Pace was also the architect of the 1970's Addleshaw Tower, the free-standing bell tower for Chester Cathedral. The chapel has several rooms and smaller chapels and places for meditation off the main building. I especially liked the textile on the kneelers on the pews. Also around the side is a Peace Garden, which has a small water cascade and is a very tranquil and serene space.
