horrific place. My partner goes here and called up at 8 as that is the opening time stated on your website. Answering machine saying you don’t open till 8:30. He rings dead on and is already number 11 in the queue and when it gets to him, he gets hung up on. When eventually getting through he explains what has happened (he had a seizure!) and is told by the receptionist who has no medical background that it is normal… This was not normal and was a seriously frightening experience and I’m horrified the receptionist has tried making him feel that this is normal which could potentially be a dangerous situation. He has a phone appointment for 2 weeks time. Absolutely ridiculous. Why can’t this be done sooner? Has also had very rude and non caring attitudes from this surgery previously.

I used to be a patient here. This doctors surgery is awful. If I could give no stars I would. The worst part is the reception/admin staff. They are rude, have no compassion, are very lazy and incompetent. Once you get past them then the doctors and nurses are ok, not great but ok - they are at least caring and qualified to do their job.... unlike the shocking service you get from the reception/admin staff.

Phoned this morning at 11:45 regarding my daughters reaction to her vaccinations. I was told to send a picture in and given an email address. At 2pm I I was emailed back to state that you do not accept images over email. I phoned back to query this and was told that unless we needed an ambulance they would not be able to speak to me. (I mean surely people that need an ambulance aren’t going to be ringing the surgery anyway they will be ringing 999) I phoned back at 3pm to be told there was no doctors available to speak to me or appointments left for the day and I needed to phone 111. I phoned 111 who said they would speak to the gp practise as that’s who needed to see us. At 5:08 I spoke to the receptionist who confirmed a docter would be calling me back. At 6:27 I waited on hold to speak to the receptionist. I was 1st in the call for over 15 minutes and feel that the receptionist purposely did not answer the call and then switched the phones off at 6:45. This is the worst treatment I have ever received from a doctors surgery and shows the lack of care regarding a one year old child! It is now Friday and we are being forced to contact 111 yet again to wait on hold to get my daughter looked at.

I have always experienced the Receptionists, Doctors and Nurses to be kind, caring and courteous. Nothing is ever a problem, even if they have to look into something and call me back. If you need a face to face you get one and any urgent appointments if needed. Would definitely highly recommend for anyone looking for a new Doctors Surgery if moving to the area.

This surgery has gone to pot. I’ve been a patient for many years now but I’m thinking I need to go somewhere else. Although I’m not sure any surgery is any better anymore. The covid excuse is now getting boring and the fact that you can’t even book to see a doctor face to face anymore (unless you insist) is beyond a joke!! The waiting time on the phone line is completely unacceptable. The whole process of booking an appointment is mentally draining with this surgery. Not to mention a couple of the receptionists are quite arrogant and condescending. Patients that are calling clearly have a concern so I don’t think any receptionist should think they have the right to speak down to them while on the other end of the phone. Despite all the negative stuff (which does far out way the positive unfortunately), there are a few lovely staff members there. Nurse Caroline is lovely, dr Uche was always nice to my son when he was very poorly and there’s a lady on reception who is very empathetic. Sadly, that’s not enough to make up for the total collapse of what used to be a really good doctors. Oh and to whoever answers these replies from Orsett surgery, no need to tell me to email the practice manager. Already done 👍🏼
