Orri is without a doubt the best Eating Disorder recovery treatment model/facility I have ever encountered. After a long battle with my Eating Disorder, having tried many types of therapy, hospital stays and therapists across the country I had all but lost hope of every recovering. Until I found Orri. I was a client on the online programme so in fact never met many of the staff in person, however even via a computer screen they helped me change my life for the better in so many ways. They are reliable, they believe that every single client they meet can fully recover, they see clients as people not their illnesses, they have genuine empathy for everyone and go above and beyond to support the people they work with. When I started Orri I was trapped in my ED and had been told by many that I would never get better. Thanks to Orri, their wonderful staff, the incredible therapeutic groups and individual sessions I am now on my way to full recovery. They supported me from my own home to make real significant changes that I had never been able to make or sustain before, even in more intensive treatment settings. At Orri you meet a community of likeminded people whom you can share experiences with during recovery from a very isolating illness. I will forever be grateful for the work I have done with Orri and if anyone is considering ED treatment I could not recommend them enough. They will always endeavour to accommodate you and your individual needs, they really listen, they appreciate how everyone’s journey is different in nature and length and they genuinely care. I would strongly not recommend this place. I had a very disjointed and disrupted time here. There was little adherence to guidelines. Poor communication resulting in many missed sessions. No care plans. Bad therapists. I saw my NHS dietician more times than anyone here. Poor quality staff hired and then subsequently “let go”. Many errors and many mistakes for many people. If I could choose again, I would consider my options more carefully.

Not very helpful and lack of communication Initial contact good until i mentioned about costs. Which they were reluctant to tell me?!! I mentioned i have limited funds so would like a free online discussion about how they can help/what they offer. They never replied. They seem very strict in the service they offer with little flexibility for shorter programmes or treatments . Not very helpful and lack of communication

Orri is a really special place. I have never encountered such rounded & varied treatment, I felt as though it covered almost every facet of an eating disorder and in a totally personalised way. The team are kind, understanding, highly knowledgable/experienced and very invested in your recovery. I felt really comfortable with them. The only issue I ever had here was with the family therapy; there is only one family therapist at Orri and we did not feel she treated us very well. Our complaints about this never went anywhere and of course there was no one else there to provide this service. Other than this - I am immensely grateful for Orri, I’m not sure I would be where I am without them.
