As I am unable to track down an email address for Orpington Station, I am using this platform to express my disappointment at seeing the Union Flag being flown upside down.

My husband wrote this complaint to the website, yet we haven’t received any updates from them. “I asked for two return tickets at Tunbridge Wells and paid for that. The ticket counter staff handed over two paper tickets. I assumed each ticket is for two passengers and took the train at 1pm from TW to Charging Cross. I was informed at the Orpington exit that I was issued with only one ticket and I needed to purchase another ticket from the counter. My wife and I went to the counter. The lady sitting at the counter started shouting on us when we told about what happened at Tunbridge Wells. I wanted to make sure that I paid for only one ticket and not for two before paying for another return ticket. At this point she was annoyed by our enquiry and shouted on us saying that we should have checked before leaving counter at Tunbridge Wells. My wife told her that she can tell this politely as we are only enquiring before making payment which we have a right to do. She without responding to her comment just cut off the conversation abruptly saying 'goodbye'. A gentleman who was in charge of security also came and asked us to leave when we hold valid tickets and had every right to be in station and be heard. This is an appalling behaviour which is not expected from your member of staffs. I hope you will take this seriously and we demand an apology from the lady who was in the counter and the security staff for such a rude behaviour. I am sure this will resolve by your responsible officers, otherwise, we will take appropriate action to address this incident. We also need the names of the member of staffs who had interacted as mentioned above.”

I’m not having staff f-ing and blinding at me due to lack or error of judgment from me. Can’t even operate toilet facilities when I’m desperate.

I have used this station for over 30yrs, today i received outstanding service from the staff on platform A. As a disabled passanger, care isn't always as it should be using public transport, apathy, unhelpfullness, rude & unkind staff & passengers, the list could go on. BUT today while I was waiting for my train these members of staff offered physical help, sensitivity & kindness, so I say THANK YOU. I recognised in their care their awareness of physical care but also those of mental health needs. I was walking up & down the platform on my crutches as sitting for me on fixed seating is painful, but after two or three 'wanders' two members of staff approached me and asked if i was okay. I reassured them I was okay & explained what i was doing & why. They offered help getting on the train, told me of a slower service on another platform that was due in sooner & pointed out other seating. I'm going to enjoy being back in the outside world after lockdown if this is how things will be from now on. Keep up the good work.

Who's in charge here? Half the staff are not even wearing a mask, so how can they enforce mask wearing on trains/public transport. If anyone was wearing a mask, it was under their chin Come on guys - pandemic and all that
