This is a genuine, long established family business, run with obvious pride and pleasure by its owners. After researching online and finding a car here that ticked all our boxes, we made an appointment to view - to our delight the entire transaction including a test drive and a part-exchange was completed within an hour or so, and we drove home in our beautiful new purchase on the same day! (Very much appreciated as we live some distance away, on the South Coast.) In a lifetime of used-car ownership we have never met such lovely, friendly and efficient sales people as John and Emma. I called up Ormonde Garage regarding a Dacia Duster that I was interested in, and John answered my call. He was so warm and courteous over the call that I decided I have to visit this dealership (20 miles away) right away. I walked into the dealership and was given a warm welcome by Emma and John. Emma just gave me the car keys and asked me to take it out for a spin. John gave me £20, asked me to fuel the car and take as much time as I wanted, to test drive the car until I am comfortable. They have so much trust in the customer that they did not even want to sit with me in the car during the test drive. After the test drive (i soiled the car driving it in slush), i informed that the car was a bit huge for my liking and asked for something smaller. They had absolutely no grouse with it and genuinely tried to help me find the kind of car that I preferred. They also offered a fair price for the car that I had, for part exchange. Really, what more can you ask from a used car dealership? It is important that you get a car that you like and is even more important that you do business with good people, in my opinion.. John and Emma are such lovely people and you need to visit them to see for yourself. I will strongly recommend Ormonde garage to anyone looking for a positive experience in parts exchange / used car purchase. Cheers Barani
