After reading multiple positive reviews on Origin Live products I decided to take the plunge on their Platter Mat and Gravity One Record Weight. All of about 5 seconds to remove my old mat, place the new one on. Pop the record weight on top of one of my favourite, well known to me records. Jaw dropping stuff!! I have no idea how it works but it really does!! I’ve spent many a £ trying to squeeze that little bit more performance out of my setup. Often with minor improvements as promised, but in this case the improvements are far from minor. A really noticeable difference in overall clarity, detail, bass weight, air around instruments. Everything is just better and snapped into focus with these two products. I wasn’t sure what difference, if any I would hear but thought with the money back guarantee why not try it out. Highly recommended, and so glad I did try. Best cost to benefit upgrade I’ve ever done, no doubt about it!

The experience of dealing with originLive could not of been bettered.I dealt with David, after paying for my local hifi specialist to come to my house and not be able to set up my beautiful OriginLive Resolution turntable for me.The motor was returned to Origin in Southampton, checked over and returned in a morning.David was amazing and so helpful.I am so looking forward to getting many years use from my origin live Resolution turn table.always there with advice and time to talk. If only all companies were this helpful and I genuinely concerned about their customers, the world would be better for it. I can't recommend Origin Live enough.Truly great and helpful service beyond anything I have experienced before many thanks.

Thank you and the team at OL for your help regarding my Resolution turntable and Illustrious arm. I’m having a bit of a music session tonight and on a variety of music, I’m really impressed. The latest multi-layer platter, now installed with my DS Audio ES-01, and set up properly is amazing. With the DS optical cartridge, the background is an inky black silence that the music jumps out from. Detail and clarity are exceptional, with a very precise but smooth presentation of the music. There is also a surprising and welcome reduction in surface noise.

I think it's about twenty years since I visited proprietor Mark Baker at this friendly business, although I have made much more recent use of the website. Mark is a highly capable and widely-experienced engineer and designer. His company makes a very good range of turntables and pickup arms which are both beautiful and highly effective, at prices to suit most pockets.
