The food is amazing, it is a little on the small side but definitely worth going here for the food. I doubt there are many places that offer a similar level of quality and presentation. The service was excellent, except when I asked for more bread, I was told they can't give you more butter? This was surprising, even in McDonald's you can get extra! The view is incredible, I wish I was seated on the west side for the sunset. The atmosphere was pretty bad when the live music started playing the saddest songs around. I just felt totally bummed out. If there was a balcony, I would have jumped. Keep it lively please. What was that beer? German beer? There are a thousand beers better, try Bavarian pils with German purity laws, or a Czech pils. The table could do with four legs so I can spread my feet out, my legs felt a bit cramped. Cheese board, cheddar, Stilton and brie was it? Are they hand crafted local cheeses? I felt that was uninspiring. I would go here again but I felt it was like a talented chefs first restaurant. Or maybe an industrial fine dining experience, turnover above satisfaction.

Yes very good experience for sure, all of it great. The reason I give only 4 because the person I went with it was her bday and as a gift they gave her a ticket for free champange on her next visit. I mean it’s her day that day must be lots nicer to do on the day. The ticket is a marketing strategy, if anything that was off putting and would have not been if they gave free champagne that very day, would be nicer! (more likely to want to go back this way )!

We've just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable 3 course Sunday lunch. The views are epic and the menu was perfect. We enjoyed pre lunch cocktails, then crab and smoked salmon starter (the latter was exceptional). For mains we shared roast chicken (served for two people, not available for one) with all the vegetables and trimmings including a Yorkshire pudding! We managed to wade through all the vegetables and the standout flavours were the goose fat roast potatoes which were delicious, the creamy chicken sauce with the cabbage and braised chicken leg, the tenderstem broccoli dressed in sesame oil. The gravy was pretty good but far too thin. It needed more reduction for a stronger depth of flavour and so it would coat the food. The roast chicken includes breast, thigh and wing. Everything was well seasoned. For dessert we had noisette and zing tang. The latter was the star, really tasty and refreshing. The noisette was a little bland. We enjoyed after dinner cocktails, la Belle Helene and Salted Caramel. We had a glass of white rioja with lunch and our bill, incl service was £200. The tableware, setting, staff were all fantastic. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and really accommodating. Thank you Susi for looking after us so well. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return! Located on 24th floor and restrooms (unisex) on 23rd floor. Lifts are right at the back of the café on the ground floor.
