I had LRS in October 2022 after 42yrs of having eye issues & a very complex prescription & all sorted in 20 minutes, i cannot fault anything about my experience with Optimax Leicester & Birmingham. Excellent aftercare friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended. No more glasses or contact lenses :) the best decision i have made.

Very unorganised organisation despite being a big brand? , took payment for treatment, then on the day got told it would be unsafe by surgeon (very caring surgeon) , no problem. Was told refund would be issued by the end of the day by the manager. Phoned later that day to be told it would take 5 days, it's been 12 days now and they have kept 2.9k of my money, when phoning to chase, no apologies offered just "I'll send an email" when asked when id hear back, no time offered. I've been polite so far but getting very frustrated. Based on this experience, id suggest using a different organisation. I will update how long it takes them to actually issue a refund.

Excellent results and excellent care from the Birmingham clinic. My vision is perfect. They fit me in quickly when I had (unfounded) concerns about my eye! I was really looked after the day of the procedure and all staff are amazing. The whole process including aftercare was seamless. Alison, Lara & Owen are all brilliant and Dr. Bhojani-Lynch looked after me amazingly on the day of my surgery.

Went for a consultation, everything seemed positive and I was given the go head for LASIK, however that exact day they gave me someone elses pack with there name on it! Didn't think much about it until day of surgery, they did all there final checks they had got my prescription wrong I litterally could not see out of the prescription they had for me. There answer was my eyes are fluctuating. I asked for copy of my prescription and compared it to the one from the day of consultation which was Completely different when showing them this THEY did not want to accept this however less than 4 weeks later I went to a much reputable laser eye clinic and now I have 20/20 vision please please steer clear of these lot they could of wrecked my future

I chose the Birmingham Optimax clinic for my LASIK eye surgery. Lara, Owen and Dr Ayoubi was amazing. All key info was explained thoroughly beforehand. Dr Ayoubi explained what he was doing throughout the surgery, made me feel 100% comfortable. Felt no pain at all. I would highly recommend Optimax.

Dr Ayoubi was my surgeon and he was EXCEPTIONAL with my surgery! He was calm and kept me calm throughout the surgery. I would highly recommend getting your laser done at Optimax at Birmingham - they are all extremely professional and kind. If you go ask for Dr Ayoubi - he is fantastic!

Best decision ever!! A huge thank you to the Optimax team at the Birmingham Clinic. I was so anxious before my procedure but the team (especially Nicky) really looked after me and put me at ease from start to finish. Could not recommend them enough they are all so professional, friendly and approachable. A special thank you to Dr Ayoubi who kept me thoroughly informed during my procedure and I instantly knew I was in safe hands. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
