  Absolutely appalling customer service,agree with others it's a money grabbing scheme Sent me 3 different appointment times, I attended the earliest one as advised to do so, had drops in my eyes to dialate them and then told to wait The right eye lens went ok but the left had to be redone as apparently the eye wasn't dialated enough More time off work and lost wages I have foggy unclear vision still my left eye I'm having to use drops 8-10 times a day and purchased a heated eye massager cos my eyes have dried up but apparently it's because of my age according to surgeon, nothing to do with their ineptitude And now if I want to read anything I been advised by them to get a cheap pair of reading glasses according to surgeon They don't reply to emails complaining they don't reply to phone calls their governance team ain't bothered and they now offering £500 months later as full and final settlement but not accepting liability Solicitors here I come Unfortunately I had to leave a 1 star review as there are no pooh options Please see below at response We are sorry and will contact you soon.. Absolute joke Not a single contact since the review posted Spoke with a gentleman at their governance team who apologised for their extremely poor service,but the manager ms Harrison has continually & miserably failed to return calls and emails. Please stay clear of this company at all costs.....

  I had my eyes done in 2019 as I was short sighted and was for ever taking my glasses on and off at work. All I can say is that I am really disappointed as I have gone from being short sighted to long sighted and now need to wear glasses all the time. I feel as though I have given it time and if anything my sight has got worse. The biggest waste of over £3,500 ever - be warned. I have given them one star as they did look after me whilst I was there and that’s it. My eye sight is worse now than it was before so BEWARE.

  Thank you all the Optegra team! I had Relex Smile last week with Mr Rehman and I can now see without my glasses / contacts. Glad to have taken Mr Rehman's recommendation for Smile, it was a pain free process for me. Thanks to the team who made me feel so comfortable and calm when I was really nervous. Couldn't have asked for better treatment.

  I have had two assessment appointments here over a 5 year span at the optegra centre in Leeds and both times I have been appalled by their customer service. The sales here is pushy and not genuine I was offered an NHS discount and then this was taken away then reordered when I asked about changing, I found the sales lady pushy and the optician did not warn me that the eye drops she was putting in would sting so I had a real shock when she put them in and I think no advance warning of this is unprofessional especially from a qualified optician. The worst thing is that they provisionally booked me in for smile surgery , luckily I chose to have a different assessment with St. James in Leeds and the difference in their service and how they care and are not money grabbing is outstanding. St. James advised me that my eyes are currently too dry for surgery and have given me treatment for 4 weeks and then I go back to be reassessed to see if I can have the surgery. If I had gone with Optegra then I would be having my surgery next week and my dry eyes could be a chronic problem that would be made worse, Thank god I cancelled the surgery. I work for the NHS myself and don't normally write reviews but as its such a lot of money for this procedure and our eye health is so important I had to share this . Please don't go to this clinic, the money is what they care about not your eye health. They told me that they are the only clinic in Leeds to do SMILE when actually St. James do this procedure and they charge 3000 less

  I cannot comment on the competency of this place, since it was impossible to arrange a consultation. I attempted no less than 6 times to arrange a consultation, with absolutely no success. This included calling and emailing. I appreciate we live in different circumstances at present, but the service simply was not good enough. I took my business (and money) elsewhere - where I was seen to for an initial consultation and had surgery, all in less than 2 weeks! Disappointing, Optegra!

  Didn't end up using their services as terrible customer service. Didn't get official confirmation of appointment (email or written), no written information before appointment, rang up before appointment trying to find out if I needed to bring prescription come in glasses and no one was able to tell me!! Told they would ring back and never did. Appointment cancelled at last minute. Terrible customer service which sadly erased my faith in the company.

  Had my laser eye surgery done here in 2015 and haven't looked back since. The staff are fantastic, they really help calm your nerves and are always on hand for any further information. They also don't discharge you until they are 100% sure that you don't require any further treatment, I had dry eyes before the surgery and was provided with eye drops to help with that at every check up until the optometrist was happy that my eyes were fully recovered. It really is worth the money.
