    Was very happy with my lens replacement Treatment. 14 months after treatment I rang as my eyes feel puffy a lot of the time and I have got Floaters in my vision (apparantley this can be due to the surgery I had ), as its been longer that 12 months they want £300 to check them, they suggested I see my local optician. ( Well thank you for taking my £7200 ). Have recommended 4 other people to them who have had the surgery as well, Wont be recommending again !!!!

    Had my surgery done in March 2023, from start to finish it was a smooth procedure, found out i had thin corneas so had to go for LASEK- very painful so be ready for it, lasted 2 days approx.. recovery went well, 3 months nearly over near enough 20/20 vision but night driving is a nightmare due to glare/halo Tarek Miah the optometrist 10/10 for service, looking after me, most humble down to earth guy, could not rate him enough, always knows how to motivate and help with any problems

    TL:DR - Avoid Optegra at all costs unless you want to have the worst service, where they take your money and treat you as an afterthought. Dont listen to people who recommend Optegra. I was recommended this place by a few optometrists. I should have gone Optical Express. Everything was initially great. The optometrist was good, staff were good. As soon as I booked the surgery thats when things went down hill. I never received any booklets, pamphlets or any information. They said there was 'an error in the new system they recently moved to which may have caused me to not receive anything. However, the emails for me to pay somehow went through?!! Fine, I can deal with that, I did my own research beforehand. And a lot of people seemed to recommend optegra so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Surgery day came, and I was told the surgery would be at this set time through a phone call and text confirmation. I turn up, and have to wait over 3 hours past my surgery time for the surgery. The worst this is they could not even give me a specific time for when my surgery would happen. They did not even say anything to me until i complained. Typical apologies and excuses were thrown at me, and they still could not give me an estimate for how long I would have to wait. There was another person who also waited three hours, and arrived half an before me. We were both sorely dissapointed that we were recommended this place and paid for this abysmal service. The surgery itself was great. Surgeon and his team were friendly and helpful and the only saving grace. I was told that there would be a follow up the next day, standard procedure. I went to the front desk and had to ask for one because of course the coordination there is so terrible they could not get one for me beforehand. Well lo and behold, they have nothing available. The lady at the desk tells me she will send me a text for when I can have an appointment later on, since they have this 'email issue' with me. I heard nothing back from them a day later and had to call back myself to try to get something. I have had no follow up yet, all seems okay so far, but this behaviour is honestly disgusting. Imagine if you had the surgery and did not feel fine the next day. You would be worried sick, and would not be able to get a follow up. Honestly this is the worst service I have ever received in my life, and I paid nearly £4000 for this. If you are currently researching into laser eye surgery, skip Optegra please. Do yourself a favour and don't go through this horrible ordeal I had to pay for. If I could give 0 stars I would. Never been this dissapointed by a paid service before.

    I had my cataract operation yesterday 2/3/23 , I was very well looked after the staff were amazing and mr fadi kherdaji who did my operation was really lovely . It was very quick and painless . thank you to all of you .

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS. My wife and I booked a day off work to have the required tests completed, staff were very good, saw the optometrist who was obviously incredibly experienced and well trained. Booked a date, paid a deposit, that’s when it all started to go terribly wrong. We had agreed a mutual date for the surgery, then after I’d made arrangements for lifts etc I was emailed with another date for my surgery? After I managed to change annual leave and re-arrange the various lifts for the day (as you can’t drive yourself) for the re-arranged date I was then telephoned to say that the surgeon was on holiday and we would have to re-re-arrange another date. I stated that this would not be possible as it was too short notice to move my annual leave yet again, I was then told ‘ok let me see what we can do for you’ heard nothing back, so telephoned to try and discuss dates, nobody available, more calls, eventually I was recontacted to say, no, the date was still cancelled. So I now have annual leave booked which I cannot move so I can’t book anywhere else. Thank you very much for completely wasting days and days of my time along with my annual leave. Do not waste your time with this company, see a company that sticks to the dates mutually agreed.

    I attended this place with my mother who could hardly walk. They are very good at making sure everything is done right! The reason for my 1 star is due to taxi drivers not being able to locate this place. Word of warning.... If your getting a taxi back from here then get the receptionist to phone a taxi that actually knows where the place is. Also don't believe Google maps if your arriving by bus.. It said to get off at Moor St and 7 min walk - took 20+ mins to walk and find this place!!! 😠

    If I could rate it 0 stars I would. Manjeet Kaur the optometrist was the most unprofessional, rude, stuck up person I have come across. She shouted and verbally abused my grandad who is old and called him a liar because he said he couldn’t see from his eye that he had op on. This is disgusting behaviour from someone who should be a professional and looking after patient. Maybe her old age has gotten to her and can’t tolerate working anymore. If that’s the case, leave. Such a shame as majority of other staff have been amazing.

    Thank you Mr Glover and all the friendly and professional staff at Optegra. Had my cataracts removed in May and July and the process was effortless. Cannot underestimate the difference this has made to my everyday life. Would not hesitate to recommend the whole experience.
