FAQ
What qualifications do your instructors have, and what kind of experience do they have in rock climbing?
Our instructors are highly qualified and experienced in rock climbing. They hold certifications from recognized organizations such as the American Mountain Guides Association and the British Mountaineering Council. Many of them have years of experience climbing in various locations around the world and are passionate about sharing their knowledge and skills with others.Do you provide equipment, or do customers have to bring their own?
We provide all necessary equipment for our courses, including climbing shoes, harnesses, helmets, and ropes. However, we do recommend that climbers bring their own personal gear, such as a chalk bag and climbing gloves, if they have them. This ensures a comfortable and personalized experience for each climber. What beginner-level courses do you offer, and how long do they generally last?
We offer a variety of beginner-level courses, ranging from half-day sessions to multi-day courses. Our introductory courses cover the basics of rock climbing, including safety, equipment, and technique. We also offer courses focused on specific skills, such as lead climbing and anchor building. The duration of each course varies depending on the level of instruction and the number of participants. What is the instructor-to-student ratio during a typical course or session?
Our instructor-to-student ratio varies depending on the course and the experience level of the participants. For beginner-level courses, we typically have one instructor for every four to six participants. For more advanced courses or private sessions, the ratio may be lower to ensure personalized attention and instruction. What kind of safety measures do you have in place during climbs, and what is your emergency protocol?
Safety is our top priority during climbs, and we take several measures to ensure that all participants are protected. We conduct thorough safety briefings before each climb, and our instructors are trained in emergency response and first aid. We also use safety equipment such as ropes, harnesses, and helmets, and we regularly inspect and maintain all gear. In the event of an emergency, we have established protocols for contacting emergency services and providing first aid until help arrives.Reviews

Jon has been coaching me since mid august. In January I did a lattice assessment with him and have followed a structured training programme he put together since then. My climbing has improved immeasurably thank to Jon's input. I'm not just feeling stronger due to the training, but also climbing a lot better without getting injured and enjoying my climbing a lot more. My goal for year was to climb 7b and thanks to Jon I reached it in month 2. He's a really responsive coach and always happy to help with my questions/concerns. All in all a great coach!

Jon is a very knowledgable and considered coach. I came to him to improve my movement / technique and after a few sessions it helped my climbing a lot and had a positive results. Jon also quickly identified other weaknesses to work on during our initial sessions and gave me structured exercises and workouts which were easy to follow. He has given me some great training advice and I have improved in my climbing outdoors which was my main goal. I continue to have sessions every couple of months and would recommend his coaching.

Jonathan is a great coach! He quickly picks up on areas for improvement, works through them by sharing examples and ongoing constructive feedback. Jon has provided lots of motivation to progress and I'm super happy with the progress I have made. The summary follow-up he sends after each session is super valuable. It communicates points to work on clearly. The follow-up includes video references and detail that lets me practice everything we worked on. As a bonus, Jon is a super nice guy!

Jon had me climbing harder climbs within 2 hours of coaching than I had climbed previously. Our following sessions built really nicely on the sessions before. Jon has made techniuque suggestions really clear so they are easily understood and incorporated. Additionally, with Jon's full understanding of training, injury, nutrition etc, the coaching is comprehensive. Training with Jon has been a fun and energising and I'm trilled to be seeing progress.
