Waste of time - emailed with the jobs I was after (needed some new taps fitting but have a broken stop tap). Turned up an hour later than scheduled, first thing the guy said was "we don't do this kind of work", completely disinterested, in the house for maybe 30 seconds max told me it wasn't worth their while to do the job. Strangest interaction with a tradesman I've ever had. Just email me back if you don't want the job rather than making me wait in!

Absolutely outstanding service. Contacted Sarah who managed to get us an engineer in at short notice to fix our oil boiler. The engineer was super knowledgeable and really professional to find the problem and fix it (with a replacement pressure pump). I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone in the area. When you have a boiler problem you can be so vulnerable and great service, constant communication and professional engineers are worth their weight in gold.

I can't recommend Wheildons highly enough. Mick and Jamie are reassuringly knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Sarah quickly organizes the help we need and tells us what we need to know about the problem we are having. The recent boiler installation went really smoothly and we're delighted with the new boiler. At my request Mick also fixed a couple of pre-existing problems at the same time. I wish our architect had recommended Wheildons when we had the extension built 16 years ago - I'm absolutely sure the various plumbing issues we've had since then would not have occurred. I don’t normally write reviews but am doing so in praise of Wheildons for the quality of service they have given. I live a fair distance away and was surprised that they agreed to give me an estimate to supply and fit a replacement oil boiler. The engineer turned up at the exact time given, was extremely helpful and polite and the estimate arrived by email within three to four hours of him leaving. I accepted because it was reasonable, and the work was done soon after. They were very quick and tidy workers. The customer care side of things was very good in that I received several phone calls to find the most suitable time and date for the estimate and fitting to be done, and the warranty registration etc has been done for me. First class service all round.

I have recently had Wheildons change my oil tank and install a new oil boiler. The service from the initial enquirey through the whole job was 1st class carried out by very professional workmen. Also my good lady is well pleased with the new “Nest” control system which Wheildons recommended and installed as part of the upgrade.
