Great service. Prompt delivery! I found their placemats particularly good value and also the breadth of the range. Same goes for the pimpernel coasters. And a huge range of mugs tea cups and teapots. They were most helpful when I had occasion to phone with a delivery enquiry and I will certainly recommend them to friends and professional colleagues.

I purchased some placemats from these people on Tesco Direct and was very unimpressed with the way they were mis-sold as something they were not. They are "Pimpernel" brand which is owned by Portmeirion but were advertised as "Portemeirion" and were much dearer than other sellers' identical Pimpernel items so I assumed these were the real deal and the others cheap Chinese copies. As it turns out they are ALL Chinese made Pimpernel using Portmeirion designs and should be sold as such according to Portmeirion themselves so by describing them as "superior quality" they are planting the idea in the buyers' minds that they are somehow better - but they are not. They admitted it was a listing error but were not prepared to make a financial adjustment, simply offered to pay the collection postage and have them back. As I needed them straight away for a new table I did not want to have to start again with a new purchase but I think they could have handled things a lot better. I would certainly not buy from them again on any platform as they are arguing that they are "cheaper than the RRP" but that is no benchmark and as they only operate out of an industrial unit their running costs must be cheaper than people with shop fronts so they could be more competitive if they really wanted to. For the sake of £8 they could have kept the sale and their reputation.
