I have thought for a while that my hearing has been deteriorating, perhaps a result of using noisy machinery with inadequate ear protection. I realised that a hearing aid would be the same price as a holiday, so decided to have a look at online (and cheaper) alternatives to regular high street outlets.The service from Online Hearing Care was most professional. Soon after completing the initial online hearing test (using headphones plugged into my laptop) I was contacted by the firm's audiologist who said that although one ear was slightly defective it was not necessary to buy a hearing aid at this stage. There was no pressure to go any further. I felt that the advice was honest and accurate. If my hearing gets worse I will certainly consider using this firm. Their hearing aids are said to be state of the art, and considerably cheaper than from high street retailers, presumably because they are online only

I have never had hearing aids before so this felt s big step for me. Shivani has been very approachable and helpful. The service has been second to none with adjustments being made remotely during live video consultations via the Phonak app. The cost of the hearing aids is significantly less than other companies but will comparable aftercare (and saves the hassle of travelling to an audiologist for follow ups!) I had an initial consultation at a High Street audiologist and found him to be very pushy, there was little flexibility with appointments and no way of contacting them in between times. This has not been a problem with Shivani - the opposite is true. My new hearing aids (Phonak P90) have already made a huge difference in my workplace where people seem to have stopped mumbling and speaking clearly so I don't need to keep asking them to repeat themselves! 😉 I wish I'd taken the plunge sooner. I love that you can make minor adjustments to the sound and volume, check battery level, etc via the app. The technology is amazing and all done from the comfort of home.

Excellent service - the Home Hearing Kit showed that I was experiencing difficulties hearing in my left ear (which I hadn't realised!) Problem now solved thanks to the easy to use ear camera which identified the cause. Great advice and customer care from the audiologists, all delivered online!
