    I don’t really like afternoon tea so thought we would try out the new, champagne lunch. Two options, a glass of champagne or a half bottle. First served a fruit, pastry and granola platter, then a choice of main. I had eggs florentine which were the best I’ve had. We went for the one glass of champagne option which was £25 per head for the champagne, platter and main. Excellent value will for what you got, will definitely go back. Staff very attentive, friendly and warm.

    On Easter Monday, I am having 4 course lunch in here. It was so nice. All staffs were also very good. I wrote the comments very late. On 10th May, I was invited by my wife for my birthday dinner in this restaurant. All staffs were very kind. Here was very comfortable restaurant. Ordered meals were also very good. At last, they prepared the complimentary happy birthday plate for me. It was so nice. Looking forward to visiting again our wedding anniversary! Thank you!

    Worst restaurant experience in Edinburgh over 7 days. It took 2 hours for our food to come out. We sat for 30 mons before getting our drink order in. Terrible service and very mediocre food.

    Lovely Sunday lunch with good selection of food from the various self-service buffet stations. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. Food was good quality with plentiful options for each course. A bit of a queue to get in, although this appeared to be down to a private event in one of the other conference rooms which seemed to delay opening.

    Very disappointing. Staff seem uninterested. Food was literally put in front of you without explanation or any form of engagement. Starters were good, main course was not. We complained and they did give us 15% off - however it spoilt the night (my partners birthday). Sadly there is also a Cocktail event immediately outside the restaurant which is very load and the thump thump thump of base is not pleasant. I know this is not the restaurants fault however seating people by the windows whilst the booths away from the windows remained empty all night is something the staff could have addressed. Will not be going back.
