I’m a bit divided to be honest.. talking to anyone about One Ashbourne, I’m always hearing the same thing, the food is amazing but the staff are treated in a terrible way. I decided to go out earlier on this week with friends to see for myself. The food was quite good actually! The atmosphere was amazing and the decor was just lovely! With all that being said, I really really didn’t like the way the staff were treated. I saw a few too many times when a waiter would make a small understandable mistake that they would mend immediately, would get shouted out by an owner or manager Im assuming in a very shocking and disgusting way. Honestly they had no shame doing it in front of everyone which was even worse. Left such a terrible taste in our mouths. While we all were there, we had a great time, the service was absolutely amazing, the chefs knew exactly what they were doing, the waitress's were so kind, caring, considerate and most of all an absolute pleasure to talk to and to be around. I would of hoped that that was a one off and a bad night but it doesn’t look like it… The staff and chefs made it such a lovely experience that I will make sure to come back. Although I do want to mention one thing, I’ve heard that the service charge is kept by the restaurant and not given to the staff so please always make sure to request for it to be taken and and then give the same in a tip instead 😊

Just came home from a wonderful dinner at One Ashbourne. The waiters were very obliging, the quality of the food, presentation and portions were excellent, and the owner even came round to check we were satisfied. Will definitely be coming back! Gabrielle
