Fantastic all-seafood lunch at Ondine. The grilled lobster, brown crab, scallops, oysters - all excellent. They accommodated our party of 5 (and then a random 6th person who showed up mid-meal) without issues. Kid-friendliness: Kids are accommodated in the restaurant.

Simply love this place- it never fails to disappoint. Great for a more casual lunch or a special occasion with friends and family. The staff are always so welcoming and the food is just delish. If you don't like fish (luckily I do) I have it on good faith that the steak is also excellent.

Chef Roy Brett has again created a first class menu offering a sumptuous choice of delicious quality seafood. So many tempting dishes to chose from, however we opted for the new brown crab arancini balls and soy/ginger mussels followed by plump juicy scallops and the amazing monkfish chop! Busy and bustling atmosphere with exceptional staff on hand with a smile. Will be back soon …

Me and my husband booked this restaurant for our first evening meal in Edinburgh on our honeymoon! The staff were so kind, welcoming and took a genuine interest in speaking to us. The food was absolutely gorgeous and they had a great wine selection! We ordered the Crab on brown butter crumpets and Fish soup to start, then Turbot Steak and Lemon Sole Meuniere for our mains. The atmosphere was great, even though the restaurant was quite busy and music was playing, you were still able to hear each other speak and wasn't too much! We really enjoyed it and would definitely visit again!

Had the lunch menu. Very good except the soup which was too salty. Otherwise very nice. Polite staff. However the outside is being redesigned so it feels a bit like a fishbowl.
