  I've literally never had such a bad customer service experience at any shop in my life, let alone any bike shop. I had punctured only a few hundred metres away from the shop this morning and I had struggling to get enough air into my tyres to seat the tyre properly and so when riding it felt very wobbly and unpleasant. Rather than go home, I popped into the shop to borrow a track pump. I also wanted to have a look and see what the shop was like as I'm new to the area and need my bike serviced! Immediately upon entering the shop I was met with a cold attitude and when I asked if I could use a track pump, the mechanic rolled his eyes at me, audibly sighed and said fine but I needed to bring my bike into the shop and he had to do it. Fine. After pumping up the first time, the tyre still hadn't seated and I asked if he might be able to try again for me. When he replied that he had already done what I had asked him to do and he did not want to do it again. I was a little taken aback by his attitude and asked if there was a problem when he told me that people buy everything online for their bikes and just come into bike shops expecting freebies. I'm not really sure what his problem was considering most bike shops have a track pump outside the shop for people to use. We got into a short argument, something I have never ever had with someone in a shop before as a customer. I have 2 bikes waiting to be serviced which require a mechanic and not the magical internet but I will never ever be coming to this shop ever again. I imagine business is slow here due to the fact this man can't have a conversation like a normal human being.

  As a bike mechanic I was appalled at how they’ve dealt with a customer. Their customer service was just disgusting, talking down to a customer, quite aggressively too, and to add insult to injury attempting to charge for an inspection of a part which was only ever asked for a second opinion on, and told to pay up after inspecting rather than saying beforehand that it would cost. Never have I known any reputable bike shop try on this kind of behaviour, I personally have had 10/15 min chats with mechanics in a shop just to discuss ideas for niche problems in working on, and not once have I ever been billed for time. From what I’ve witnessed I’ll be avoiding using On Yer Bikes for anything, I walked in, witnessed that, and walked out.

  (Translated by Google) Very dangerous repair! The workshop installed a tube that was much too thin for me, so I broke down again in the middle of traffic. It's a good thing I wasn't quick at the time, it could have ended badly! Also, the workshop does not have the right tools, no compressor. Repair took forever - it should have been obvious that something wasn't right. Instead, there was only the comment that the coat is deformed, but that's not a bad thing. Another workshop then repaired it properly but only asked me which layman had repaired it. After complaining to On Yer Bike write endless e-mail and no apology. I'm still waiting for the promised credit. Never again! To your answer: I was in your shop with my bike on June 13, 2022 and have already received many emails from Chris. But there was no refund except emails. And now you can't find my case anymore? Laughable but fits the picture of this company. (Original) Sehr gefährliche Reparatur! Die Werkstatt hat mir einen viel zu dünnen Schlauch montiert, so dass ich mitten im Verkehr wieder eine Panne hatten. Gut dass ich zu dem Zeitpunkt nicht schnell war, das hätte böse enden können! Auch hat die Werkstatt nicht das richtige Werkzeug, keinen Kompressor. Reparatur dauerte ewig - da hätte es schon auffallen müssen dass etwas nicht passt. Stattdessen gab es nur den Kommentar, der Mantel ist verformt, aber das ist nicht schlimm. Eine andere Werkstatt hat es dann richtig repariert aber mich nur gefragt welcher Laie das denn repariert hatte. Nach Reklamation an On Yer Bike ewiges E-Mail schreiben und keine Entschuldigung. Auf die versprochene Gutschrift warte ich noch lange. Nie wieder! Zu Ihrer Antwort: Ich war mit meinem Fahrrad bei Ihnen im Geschäft am 13. Juni 2022 und habe bereits viele Mails von Chris bekommen. Aber außer Mails kam keine Erstattung. Und jetzt finden sie meinen Vorgang nicht mehr? Lachhaft aber passt ins Bild zu diesem Unternehmen.

  Bought my bike from these guys a few months ago! The bike itself is excellent, but the staff went above and beyond helping me to find a bike to suit my needs - the saleswoman I spoke to even had an understanding of my disability, which is a first! I had a couple of issues when I first received my bike due to a loose torque sensor, but they were incredibly helpful and quick to sort it. Cannot recommend them enough, best bike shop in Lancaster hands down

  Very friendly, Informed staff. Could answer my questions quickly enough. Had my bike in for a broken headset and it was replaced with a superior part, thanks to the staff at On Yer Bike and it was done quickly and efficiently.
