well what an absolute waste of time it is contacting these people for help they work for the energy companies who are the people who pay there wages so how you expect to get justice is just a waste of time the energy company you complain about will just work with the ombudsman so that they can justify ripping you off and its your last chance of getting any help with your complaint against the energy company so they all work together to shaft you they are not there to help the consumer they are there to help the energy provider who pay there wages so they will give you a little bit of a bill reduction so you think they have helped but really they have just satisfied the energy companies who pay there wages as the old saying goes dont bite the hand that feeds you .please remember you have no contract with the energy company as a contract must have a wet signature do some research as the ombudsman will not ask you energy provider for any official documents they have used against you as there court orders and warrants are not legal.

Don`t waste your time using this service, they will deny your case and put pressure to accept a small compensation even if you send all the evidence. They absolutely rule in favor of the big companies!

My advice would be to not waste your time with these clowns and instead sue your energy/broadband provider etc privately. Ombudsman service will side with the whatever company they are investigating and after further research it seems the have no power to enforce their decision if it is a rare case where they do side with the customer resulting in you having to take the provider to court anyway. They are funded by the companies they police so it is just convoluted self policing which as anyone with an ounce of common sense knows does not work.

When a company wants to use ombudsman services! It’s solely for one reason! They know that the whole system has a massive flaw. That the operatives are totally incompetent. And just like the review below! It feels like they are part of the companies we are complaining about. Rather than a organisation to protect us from these companies that rip us off time and time again. So if you get a case handler named. Thomas Scott Gaynor malpass or Sarah Todd you might has well give up now! They don’t upload evidence! They refuse to look at the evidence provided. Would rather make assumption than look at the evidence! Just a total poor service all round and I wish I went straight to the courts than mess about with these donkeys!
