Gone downhill since changing from Atlantis. Used to be half decent up until recently. Chips with black bits and cold, fish soggy. Definitely avoid delivery. May be different if you go in but got sick of the sour face at the counter

Very disappointing, wish I had read the recent reviews before ordering. Sadly it seems the the quality has gone go down hill. Chips were stale, cod was extremely dry and over cooked. I won’t be ordering again.

not good st all, service is very poor. The staff are miserable and their personal hygiene leaves a lot to be desired, were wearing dirty green shirts which you could see were never cbanged: sweaty armpits put me eating. The çhips were cold and hard, the cold drinks were warm and chicken inedible. £16 for chicken and chips for two. One plus point, they don't smile as they rip you off, they are simply plain rude with it. Nevèŕ again!!!

Inedible pastie, raw pastry and rancid chips. The lot went in the bin. Phoned to complain and the women said”what do you want me to do about it darling” Avoid like the plague unless you want it all to go in the bin.

Used to be my favourite chippy but horrid now. Bought a cone and almost all the chips were black and completely hard. Either poor quality potatoes or cooking, but either way I was able to eat maybe 5 chips before I had to throw the rest away.

Just bought some chips from Oliver’s at 18:00. They are rancid from the afternoon batch. I ordered a regular bag. When she finished pouring I decided I wanted a large. She put an extra scoop in to make it a large for £1.10. Avoid this chippy. There are better places to eat along this row of shops.

Kid-friendliness: Whenever I take my two girls in, the friendly staff always offer them a lollipop.
