I went to this beautiful salon today for a colouring service, haircut and styling. Richard has taken out the unwanted black colour from my hair and brightened up my hair to a beautiful warm brown. Himself and Paul both listened to my preferences , what I wanted to achieve and made me feel comfortable - such a great vibe in there ! Richard has got so much talent and patience, recommended me the most suitable haircut and what colouring service would be best without ruining my hair. The best haircut experience I've had in Birmingham. A few months prior to my haircut at Oliver James, I had my hair cut for the first time in Birmingham in 6 years at a different salon and it was a terrible experience. I was really worried that trying somewhere new would end in the same result but Oliver James salon really turned things round for me. I had my haircut by hairdresser Richard who gave me exactly what I wanted and more. I was persuaded to cut my hair slightly shorter than I initially wanted but I'm so so so happy I did. Richard and another staff member were so welcoming and easy to talk to. Totally understood what I wanted and gave me advice on styling and colouring (when I was going to take the plunge).
