It goes without saying that our kitchen is well designed and exquisitely made and the end product more than met our expectations. Its design and finish are one of the first things that visitors to our home always remark upon. Phil and Gary are at every stage of the design and installation process making sure even the smallest detail is considered and discussed. We were invited to visit the workshop whilst the kitchen was in manufacture to have additional input into the final design and finishes. Aftercare is also exceptional, with Phil or Gary immediately addressing any small adjustments with Jez completing the remedial work onsite with patience and attention to detail. We considered a number of local bespoke kitchen manufacturers as part of our project planning. However, we were very fortunate to have happened upon Oliver James, during our kitchen project research. The initial meeting with Phil when he invited us to the workshop to see the company at work pretty much convinced us on making a decision as to who to commission the work to. We would have no hesitation in recommending Oliver James’ workmanship or the team’s furniture making skills and we would definitely use them again for other projects.

We have a fantastic kitchen by Oliver James, it's exactly what we wanted! Polite, tidy and efficient staff. We then got some beautiful bespoke wardrobes that are also amazing. Will definitely be using again! Edit.... our kitchen is now 14 years old and still looks like new. The true sign of a quality kitchen is can it stand up to the test of time? Yes, we still love it and get complicated all the time!

Also the design and installation teams were excellent. Phil, the designer was challenging, thoughtful and created a kitchen better than we could have done on our own. We could not recommend the installers (Trevor, Adam and Collin) more highly. They were pleasant, professional and their attention to detail left us with zero snagging post completion! We have a jaw dropping absolutely stunning kitchen - Phil and his team worked with us to create our dream kitchen, over several meetings the design came together. The attention to detail is second to none. They listened to us and delivered an end result that is beyond anything I have seen anywhere else. Not only is the kitchen fabulous, dealing with Oliver James has been a joy, they also designed wardrobes for our new home and a fabulous bespoke large chest of drawers for our master bedroom. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Oliver James Furniture have so far produced and installed two fabulous kitchens for us. The first was a lovely walnut and painted arrangement for an Edwardian property. We are now in a 1960's house and wanted a kitchen styled in keeping with the mid- century modern feel, whilst retaining the solidity and quality of a handmade in-frame kitchen. Phil and his team have again exceeded expectations and have delivered a kitchen we are delighted with. Oliver James is a company which offers excellent craftsmanship, uncompromising attention to detail, and total professionalism even when dealing with the most demanding of customers.
