We stayed at Oldfields Farm last week for three nights. What a find! The cottage had everything we needed, and Pepper loved exploring the garden. A great base to explore South Derbyshire and the Peak District! Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 … More

We had a brilliant stay with our 3 dogs. Beautiful, clean, characterful cottage, big garden and walks on the doorstep as well as a short drive to lots of the popular routes. Delicious goodies to arrive to and locally made dog treats! Emma was so helpful recommending places for us to go as one of our dogs is very nervous. 100% recommend!

We stayed for 4 nights back in November with our two Chihuahuas Coco and Cuba. Emma met us on arrival and gave us the tour. The place is really dog friendly and our 2 settled in really quickly. The house has everything you need for a great stay. On Emma's recommendation, we went to the Duncombe Arms nearby (8min drive) for a Sunday lunch. It is on the Michelin Guide, and is one of the best lunches we have had. Food and staff were great. 3 courses for £35. Lovely walks nearby. Great stay, will definitely be back.

A great place to escape and forget the world for a few days. Everything you could need. Some great walks to be had and it’s great to have an enclosed garden so the dogs can roam free. We would lose Marci for hours out there whilst she is exploring. It was our 2nd visit but it certainly won’t be the last. Thank you to Emma and family for being so accommodating.

We had such a lovely time at Oldfields Farm back in August. I dare say it's the most dog friendly place we've ever stayed at and Emma really understands rescue dogs which is rare! The cottage is so well equipped with everything you need and the garden is magnificent. Lila couldn't get enough of the garden. There's so many nice walks nearby too. We don't tend to go back to the same place as we like trying different accommodation but we've already booked our second stay which says a lot. Thank you Emma ❤️

Just got back from a lovely stay at Oldfield's Farm, can't wait to return! The cottage was so cozy and had everything you could possibly need. Some lovely walks right from the doorstep and our dog Piper loved the big enclosed garden- she would also definitely recommend it here lol!

We had a lovely time at Oldfields Farm! The cottage was warm, cozy and had everything we needed for our mini break. Emma met us on arrival, showed us around and made us feel very welcome and at home. She had left us with a basket of scones, jam, clotted cream, fresh eggs from her hens, milk and tea/coffee which was very much appreciated! Our fur babies were also made to feel welcome and at home. We enjoyed playing table tennis in the barn, local walks and exploring the peaks with visits to Dovedale, Kinder Scout and also a bit of shopping in Derby. Oldfields farm is perfectly located to explore multiple locations and we were very happy with our visit and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others wanting to visit the Peak District without being too remote (Ashbourne and local shops/supermarkets are around a 10 minute drive away) but whilst still being in the countryside.
