I recently had the pleasure of receiving medical care at this 5-star walk in centre in Liverpool, UK, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome and at ease. The facilities are modern, clean, and well-maintained, with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Throughout my stay, I was consistently impressed by the professionalism and expertise of the medical staff. They were attentive, responsive, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met.

A very busy centre even at 08.00 on a Sunday morning. A leaking ileostomy bag from a dual nephrostomy took me there following a 111 call. Several hour wait but the nurse (Elizabeth) did a good job. It is Liverpool's busiest walk in. Only problem was an anti social patient who coughed openly not trying to stifle or prevent exposure to others. We were allowed to sit in the car and they rang us when our turn. Parking signs are a put off but don't worry, they don't apply to walk in patients. Open every day even Christmas day.

My partner was sent home with no medication with tonsillitis. Attended with my partner last week sat waiting for 3 hours, my partner had had fevers, muscle aches, ear ache, swollen tonsils with large white spots and couldn’t swallow or even lift his head up of the pillow until I gave him ibuprofen and paracetamol. Which then controlled his fever so we could come to the walk in. Was told by 2 different nurses that he had tonsil stones. Despite the fact he was very ill and we explained that he was only not showing a high temperature due to us giving his medication not long before being seen. He was completely dismissed when he said that he had tonsillitis and he knew this since he has it frequently no medication was given and was sent home and told to gargle salt water. We knew that he had tonsillitis and went straight to a different walk in centre, we where seen in 15 minutes and sent straight away with antibiotics for 10 days and told he did in fact have tonsillitis. I will be putting in a formal complaint.

My regular GP practice declined to remove stitches in my arm ( because I didn't have them put in there... ) so I attended this Walk-In. Very happy with how things went. Relatively painless ! Just a tip, if driving, it's a small, left-hand turn into Crystal Close, easy to miss. If you find yourself on a supermarket car park ( off Edge Lane), you have gone too far !
