I cant thank penny the nurse practitioner enough after her examination, penny advised me to go straight to A&E colchester where there I had blood tests scans only to reveal appendicitis so I was very lucky was admitted and operation was the next day, so grateful to penny, it was lovely to get a call from Georgia at the GP practice to see how I was recovering, I have always found the nurses amazing, also doctors and receptionists very helpful, so thankyou all...😊😊

My mother is 89 years old and isn't as quick on the phone as others. She can not get an appointment she rings at 8 when she finally gets through no appointments left. They won't let her book an appointment she has to keep ringing at 8 the next morning. Help your older patients get appointments stop hindering them. Do you not care about your older older patients? Disgusting way to treat older people

After suffering a shoulder injury, was referred to physiotherapist Mr Chinonso. Had a thorough examination where, Mr Chinonso explained the nature of the injury in a patient friendly way,devised an exercise plan to increase mobility and strengthening the affected area.This was very successful in relieving this painful condition.Also the reception staff were very helpful as I had to register as a temporary patient. I would highly recommend this practice. Thank you to all.

The only reason this review didn’t get 5 stars is because you have to be really lucky if anyone answers the phone there. But when they do the medical care you get is wonderful.

I just want to say a big well done to this surgery! Having moved my whole family here from my old surgery a couple of months ago we are so please with how professional they run it from the reception staff to the admin office and all of the doctors. We have had an appointment when we need one, they always run on time and we have always been thoroughly dealt with when we have a problem from blood tests to referrals. I especially want to say a big thank you to Mr Joe Oxley for being a Star. Thank you Old Road Surgery!
