My wife and I went here last week with some friends for the first time. We had the banquet, with our friends having the veggie version. Food was beautifully cooked and tasted lovely - beautifully spiced. Service was good, and I think pretty much all the family was involved with hosting, serving, cooking etc. A really nice evening. We hope to go again soon.

We love Persian food and have never been disappointed in many Persian restaurants that we have been ! However it is a shame that this restaurant claims to sell Persian cuisine as the food was horrible! In fact we did not eat the main course and left the restaurant very very disappointed! The starters were all canned cold food as they did not taste fresh ! The main course was microwaved heated and tasted nothing like Persian food ! If you like us want to experience the authentic Persian food then it is not worth spending your money here and will be very disappointed! Following above review on trip advisor the owner replied in a derogatory language that I am uneducated!! And they don’t sell Persian Cuisine !! Yet the name of the restaurant is “ Dorrington Old Hall Persian Cuisine”!! all the menu is full of Iranian cuisine names ! So it clear who needs education?! If you don’t sell “Persian Cuisine “ so change the name to some things else and change the menu names to stop disappointing and deceiving people like me who loves Persian food !
