Disappointed to say that there is nothing provided in the way of welcome pack. No tea, coffee, milk, nothing. All that is provided is a toilet roll in each toilet. Not even any hand wash if you do need the toilet . Now, after a long journey to get there, the first thing you want to do is visit the bathroom and make a cup of tea. So beware, you have to bring everything you need as there is nothing there. Every cottage we have been to always has some items provided or left by previous guests, like hand wash, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, shampoo or shower gel, etc, etc. But this place appears to have been purposely stripped bare of anything useful. Check in time is 3pm. We arrived at 3:10 but had to wait outside until 3:30pm as the cleaners hadn't finished. The place is nice and clean but beware if you don't like spiders as there are plenty, especially at ceiling height. I don’t think the cleaners look above head height. The garden is nice and big with wooden bench seats on the patio. The conservatory is a great addition with pool table and table tennis. The pool table is in poor condition and needs re-covering, and the table tennis bats need replacing as the rubber has come off. There was clearly a swimming pool in the conservatory but, unfortunately, has been covered over. Would recommend the short walk to the Henny Swan pub. Good food and good beer.

The cottage is nice and in a lovely location. However, when you book there is no warning about the terrible road that you need to use to get to it. It is full of big pot holes and there are no passing places. It is also little odd that a hoover or broom isn't supplied to sweep up. It lacks the attention to detail that you normally get when an owner lives on site or nearby.
