I was initially excited to try out the meal boxes from Oja, but I was disappointed with the experience. There was no tracking on the delivery, so my delivery date passed with no word from the team. I sent an email and the delivery came within the hour. I ordered and paid for two meal boxes only to receive one, with an out of stock note for the other, which I still await a refund for. The meal box that did arrive had missing and duplicated ingredients. While the efo riro still turned out well, I have been put off by my first experience.

Sorry I am frank, but here goes what is my true opinion on this awful "ethical" store! The most awful management. Unacceptable treatment of people. Don't even bother. Deserves zero stars, not one. Do not support this so-called business (money-grabbing thief in my opinion). Anywhere else is better

The man who gave me my click and collect order seemed intoxicated. Red eyes and smelled bad! I am not proud to "expose" my fellow African, but brother we need to do better. I am just glad my children were not there because of the smell. And the warehouse where the food is looked filthy, I am no longer comfortable getting my food from this company. EDIT Responding to Oja: My review was nothing personal, I have nothing to gain by giving a negative review. I am simply sharing my experience as a disappointed customer. The Oja employee responding to my review seems to be overly emotional and to brush me off as “disingenuous” is immature and tells me enough about this failing company.

I order some items from oja, I want to add to my shopping no phone number, I made efforts to email them no response. The one that brought chills to my bones was that I spent the whole day waiting for my delivery after 3 day but was called at 9 pm that the delivery van was broken down. That it will be done next day. I told them am not home he the driver said the office will call me and they never did. This is not the first time this has happened. I advice anyone wishing to cook for people not to trust oja for anything. They will disappoint you at the dieing minute. I should have known better. You can't call them,on the phone as their is no phone number, (s)and they will never respond to your emails. Am highly disappointed 😞.

Disgusting service! If I could give 0 star I would. I will not be ordering from this place again. I had placed an order on Friday 17th for delivery on Monday 20th. First you delivered said goods outside of a random address. To-date I have been emailing you for a full refund, including the credit for non-stocked goods, since you failed to redeliver the goods you guaranteed would be sent as priority on the 21st. Now I have to go to the credit company to lodge a payment dispute for the undelivered goods, since you have been ignoring my emails. UPDATE 🚩 On 28th March Owner made contact to apologise, citing multiple issues with their system. I now note that this was a different excuse from the one provided below. She stated that everything had been resolved and was STABLE, so offered a Saturday delivery that week or the following Tuesday. Having excepted her reason given for the poor customer service, I was happy to accept a re-delivery on Tuesday 4th April. Did the delivery arrive? NO! I emailed the owner again and her excuse this time was "operational issues" and offered a 4th delivery date 👀. I was lost for words, and requested a refund directly back to my card and to close my account- To wait in for a 4th attempt is a waste of my time. She wrote back with a "sincere apology" and offered to issue a refund to me that would reach my account in 5-10 business days. It is now the 8TH MAY, 33 DAYS from the date of her email, and still no refund! I should have stuck to my guns and gotten the credit card company to do a payment reversal. I will be doing that now.

So I placed an order over a month ago. I was disappointed when my order came as i only received less than half of my items. I immediately emailed customer service to request a refund. It took them 10 days to get back to me. In my email I specifically requested that the money be sent to my bank account (after seeing other people say they got credit instead of a refund) but they gave me store credit. So, again, I requested that the refund be sent to my payment card and again, it took them a week to get back to me. The email said the refund takes 5-10 days. So Oja please tell me why it has now been 14 business days and my refund is nowhere to be found?!? Before I tried ordering through the website I had always ordered through Ubereats. Back then the service was at its best in my opinion. For some reason ubereats started saying i lived too far to deliver but oh well. I really tried to support you guys but this service is inexcusably bad. You're taking the mick now. I thought I'd get even better service dealing with you directly but I was very wrong. Please give me my money back. UPDATE🚨 Now it has been 18 business days. I sent an email this morning with a fake email and I got a response within 3 hours. So now I have concrete evidence my emails asking for a refund are being ignored and you’ve been ignoring me for almost a MONTH now! Any shred of sympathy I had for you guys is gone, you’re literally playing in my face now. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!
