FAQ

What types of wedding cakes do you offer and what is the price range?

At Off The Wheaten Track Deli, we offer a variety of wedding cake options to suit different tastes and preferences. Our range includes classic vanilla, chocolate, and fruit cakes, as well as more unique flavors like lemon and elderflower or red velvet. Prices vary depending on the size and complexity of the cake, but we work with each couple to create a cake that fits their budget.

Can you accommodate specific dietary restrictions or preferences?

Yes, we are happy to accommodate specific dietary restrictions or preferences. We offer gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free options, and can work with couples to create a cake that meets their specific needs. Just let us know what your requirements are when you place your order.

How far in advance should a couple place an order for their wedding cake?

We recommend that couples place their order for their wedding cake at least 2-3 months in advance. This allows us plenty of time to prepare and ensures that we can accommodate your request. However, we understand that sometimes things come up at the last minute, and we will do our best to accommodate rush orders whenever possible.

Can you provide references or examples of past wedding cakes you have created?

Yes, we would be happy to provide references or examples of past wedding cakes we have created. We have a portfolio of our work that we can show you, and we can also provide contact information for previous customers who have agreed to serve as references. Amazing food and amazing atmosphere Hayley and Dave are so fantastic. One of my favourite lunch time treat is the spinach and feta pastries, it take me back to Greece every time I have one. Would highly recommend even if you don't have any dietary requirements. Amazing all round ☺️

Had lunch at the deli yesterday and picked up a few bits to take home too. Everything was DELICIOUS. To be able to just simply order a tuna melt bagel was such a thrill as a coeliac. The tiramisu was to die for, and my muggle husband loved everything he had too. We’ll be back… a lot.

I'm so happy to have been recommended this cafe/ shop. I finally went at the weekend and purchased a selection of their pastries/ sausage rolls/ breads and I have really enjoyed them all. Also the person who served me was so knowledgeable about all the ingredients in each item that it was really reassuring. It's so hard to find good places that do gluten free so thank you. Can't wait to go back and get more
