We had an amazing time last Saturday on a four hour fishing lesson with Justin and Steve. Both Coaches were excellent and very knowledgeable about fishing and wildlife in general, they are passionate about what they do and go to great lengths to make sure it is an enjoyable and worthwhile experience. They taught us lots of interesting information and we were able learn different techniques for catching different fish such as Bream, Rudd & Carp. I went with my brother and Nephew (aged 13) and had a fantastic day out. We are all beginners and were surprised how quickly we were able to catch. The time flew by as we had so much fun and learned so much. We are thankful for a great experience and would definitely take lessons again with Justin and Steve. I would really recommend booking with these guys as it is a great experience for families and groups of all ages!

The expertise, care and dedication that Justin and his team of fishing coaches have is outstanding. Their approach is pitched perfectly to each child and within seconds of arriving all you can see are big smiles on the kids’ faces. As a parent, watching your child blossom and grow in confidence each week is fabulous to watch and you can’t ask for more. Then we have the locations! 🙌😍 Beautiful calm spots that relax the soul but kept the adrenaline pumping in my sons’ chest as he sought to beat his own record each week and find out what other fish breeds the waters would reveal. Please don’t hesitate about learning to fish with Off The Scale. Just do it! 🎣

My little boy had wanted to go fishing for a while, but I didn’t have a clue where to start or where to go, then came across Off The Scale Outdoor Education. Justin was fab, so helpful, my little boy is autistic and doesn’t look people in the eyes who he isn’t comfortable with, within half an hour he was chatting away with Justin and had no problem holding eye contact as Justin made him feel that comfortable, he’s great with kids and really explains everything well, he’s given us lots of advice and tips about how to continue with our finish journey, We caught around 7/8 fish and had a great time, would definitely recommend, thanks Justin!

Brilliant! I took my girlfriends son and daughter just to try angling and they loved it. Justin and Steve are brilliant. Explaining from start to finish about all the different course fish. They caught over 20 fish between them. Made it a fun experience. They both can't wait to go back ☺️.

Highly recommend justin and his team for coaching fishing very professional and educational which keeps them interested. I took my two children for couple hours today and they absolutly loved it! justin is very good at teaching the children everything they need know down to safety of the waters and the different species of fish, not only did the children love having a fish off competition to see who could catch the most which they caught 21 between them 😄 my boy is now very confident in hooking the maggots and casting the rod now thanks to justin .

We had a really good 2hr lesson with my 2 boys (10 & 7). Our instructors we're knowledgeable, friendly and made sure that the boys had a great time. It was the 7 yr old's birthday and he happily proclaimed it the best birthday ever! I'd recommend them to anyone who's thinking of giving angling a try.
