Off road kids can be found at the Chelmsford Equestion Centre turn off - although you won't find a ticket office as you need to book online. There is some parking set aside on the left of the car park (marked out with a sign) and the person doing the cars meets you and signs you in. You then wonder off to the cars to start the adventure. The cars themselves are pretty good and simple to use - parent also gets a cut off button to stop the vehicle if needed. The steering can be a little hard if you have kids at the lower end, but slightly older kids will be fine with it. (Adult can ride in /on the car if they are having difficulty). Bookings tend to be no more than four cars which is also useful to know - on our time slot it was just our two kids! The course is only about 30 mins which when you have two kids comes to a whooping fifty quid (twenty five each). I did feel this was a tad expensive, but I guess more so as I have two kids tompay for!! The course includes a small 'hill climb' and a water section to cross. Kids absolutely loved it and wished it went on for ages! Great experience, but not something I can afford as a regular activity!!

Absolutely wonderful! Proper actual off road mini vehicles, going up hills, through mud and giant puddles and everywhere!! We booked the safari and it was great, definitely worth the price. Parents bring wellies!! Its truly an off road experience! Already planning our next visit!

29/10/22 Back today for a Spooky car ride and a pumpkin, our grandchildren enjoyed themselves. Came today with two of our grandchildren, they both had a great time. The staff member was helpful and polite. The cars were very easy to drive and very safe. A nice drive/walk through the fields, most of the drive is through flat terrain. Wear shoes/trainers. Refreshments available. Recommended

Good value for money, maximum group size is 4. They are able to tailor the course depending on how quickly or slowly your child picks it up. I would recommend ages 4/5+

Having seen social media posts from a friend I decided to book a Dinosaur adventure for my two children (8 and 5). Absolutely excellent decision! We were greeted and quickly shown to waiting vehicles. On the first lap I had to sit in the back, we went round the course pausing to find Dino eggs hidden along the way. I was then allowed to dismount and the children completed two further solo laps with us walking alongside for some excellent photo opportunities. Upon completion the children were awarded a printed certificate and goodie bag and allowed to enjoy the various outdoor toys. Thoroughly recommend this for any children.
