Awfully unorganised and unscrupulous company. First I ordered a Tesla long range for around ~£750 pm gross, then no communications and when I asked them they told me it was an incorrect price and they canceled it without telling me which meant I missed out on a real 10% price decrease for the tesla standard range which I would've got instead. When asked if they would honest the 10% decrease price on the tesla standard range instead they said no. Next I ordered a Ioniq 5 ultimate at £755 gross which got accepted and signed by our company too and not even two months later they now tell me that there is a "slight" increase... which is £848 gross and I have to re-sign at that price. Are these dirty tactics to get people to sign and interested in the cars and then increase the price later very near delivery? If anyones company are looking at using Octopus, I would not waste my time with them their price for most cars are way overpriced with comparable leases except with a few select cars: Ioniq 5, Funky cat.

Terrible customer experience - happy to take money but as soon as you need anything in the event of an accident or service requirement they don't provide any customer support. I would strongly recommend you not use Octopus EV

A superb experience from start to finish. This was my first EV order through Octopus. From point of order on the website to car delivery took roughly 4 weeks. Any questions i had were answered swiftly and there was someone always available to support. A big thankyou to Robyn from Octopus for the superb level of customer service she has provided. I do have a slight issue with the install of the home charger but this is in relation to my own property issues as opposed to anything Octopus can do. They have provided ideas and solutions so hopefully this will be solved in the coming weeks. I went for a Mercedes EQA 250+, the car was delivered exactly as advertised on the Octopus site. It is a excellent car and i am thrilled with it. The delivery was slightly later than planned on the day but this was due to the Mercedes delivery driver being delayed again nothing Octopus could have done differently.

Some of the best customer service 'Ive experienced! I cant fault the team at Octopus EV, honestly some of the best customer service I have ever experienced, anywhere. I can see a lot of negative comments based on car delays, which I don't believe has anything to do with Octopus, or their amazing staff. They contacted me about a new product - a nearly new EV, so the car was available, however the level of communication over the phone and on email was incredible - they were constantly keeping me updated, unbelievably proactive, very knowledgable and super friendly. A big thank you and shout out to Robyn, who was exceptional and also Ed too, both for making the experience so fantastic.

The level of service provided by both Nehru Ganesamoorthy and Kelly Castaneda was A1 ++ - they were both helpful, efficient and responsive. They sourced and arranged all the leasing paperwork for my new shiny Kia EV6. I would recommend Octopus Electric Vehicles to anybody looking to purchase a new EV vehicle.

Great service to start with and I received a good deal. Now that I've changed employer they've been a nightmare. Impossible to speak to anyone who can discuss options and despite being proactive the situation has dragged on for months. When I finally got an email from the correct team they tell me not to drive the car (at the beginning of the Easter holiday period)!

I never leave reviews but I figure I really should add one as my experience has been the complete opposite to other, more negative, ones here. Last June the company I work for signed up for Octopus EV's lease scheme. Lead times on EVs were insane at the time (6-9 months), and their portal didn't list the specific cars I thought would suit me best. And yet, 8 weeks after we'd signed up I had the exact car I had initially wanted, a model no longer being sourced in the UK. And part of the delay was me not being available for delivery for two weeks due to being away on holiday. Now, this was nice for me but what was fantastic was a way a problem was dealt with, quickly and efficiently. Just prior to delivery I got a call saying that when they'd gone to wash the car a stain on it revealed paint damage, and they gave me the option of repairing themselves and delivering later, or letting me take delivery and passing on the repair costs to them. They took care of the repairs, and I received a car in perfect condition the day after I got back from holiday. Now, you could argue that it was just good selection of a supplier and that Octopus EV just lucked out, however this week I've had need to contact Octopus EV customer support for a VE103 form needed ASAP and they were outstanding, promising to get it to the appropriate department that afternoon and see it in the post that evening. And true to their word I had it the next day. Likewise, they were very helpful and efficient in adding an additional driver to the insurance. The only bad point I can say is that after browsing their portal you may get inundated with sales calls when someone may already be dealing with your enquiry. However whilst their sales people may be over-eager and possibly not coordinated at least they're knowledgeable and helpful in exploring alternatives instead of pushing just a simple script/what they want to sell.

Robbing so and sos. Check out their prices Vs a lease comparison site, Octopus' net-of-tax price offers virtually no saving, notwithstanding that they pad out the 'offer' with 'special deals' on their own electricity tariffs (!) and free chargers.
