Ocean clean our offices twice a week, due to a lot of tradesmen using our front office it can become very dusty, however that is always short lived with the thorough cleans that we receive. The service is second to none and I can't believe negative reviews. I would certainly recommend them to any company that requires a very professional cleaning company.

I don't normally write reviews, but I think it's worth sharing my experience with this company, as it was relentlessly and depressingly poor. This is particularly so as I chose them based on their good reviews, so this only doubled my disappointment. When we first contacted the company, we explained to them that we had a anxious/reactive small dog here and needed to find a company who could send the same cleaner generally every week for that. We were assured this would be fine, and booked in an initial cleaning. The evening before that first cleaning, we got an email telling us it had been cancelled due to staff shortages. I know these things happen, but personally I would have preferred to receive a call rather than some form of email for a last second cancellation. We rescheduled for another date with them, and the day before that cleaning were told - only when we asked - that they had decided without informing us to send three cleaners to work together rather than one cleaner. I explained again that we had an anxious dog and didn't want to have three unknown people in our 2 bedroom apartment. Our initial agreement had been to have a regular cleaner the dog would recognise so was a bit upsetting to find out after cancelling the first session they had made totally different plans for the second session and were sending a load of people over without even asking or telling us. Anyhow, we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, so we agreed to cancel that session and wait another week for a single cleaner to come. The following week I had to as with other weeks write them to find out what time the cleaner would come (they only send you a one hour band for arrivals because that is how their 'system is set up') and they wrote back with a precise arrival time. The cleaner came 35 minutes later than that time (they had told me specifically 10am arrival) - no mention of being late on her end. She was pleasant, but am afraid the cleaning a disaster. She was extremely slow, blasting a radio without asking and had not been trained to clean at all. Our shower matt wasn't lifted when she 'cleaned' the floor, there were hairs everywhere on the floor and shower. The kitchen was barely touched (10 minutes?) and the counters just wiped around stuff on them without moving anything - the toaster wasn't moved to clean the 100 crumbs underneath it. The corner of the kitchen with the bins wasn't swept at all with dirt clearly visible and the bins weren't touched or emptied. The sink wasn't touched. The hob wasn't touched. I could go on and on, and I could stick the 20 photos I took, but let's just say the cleaning was a joke. I could have done better myself in 1 hour. Having arrived 30 minutes late, the cleaner left 15 minutes early, effectively staying for 2 hours and 45 minutes. I was too defeated at that point to even say anything. I'm used to a new cleaner needing some feedback, and she asked me at the end for that, but the whole cleaning was so bad that I didn't even say anything to her as it was pointless and we would have been there an hour with me teaching her how to clean. Anyhow, when I wrote the company to complain, I was told that going forwards they could send a more experienced cleaner. By this point, I'd lost trust to be honest, and said no thanks. To compound matters, I didn't receive their promised invoice for billing that day of the cleaning so I assumed they were adjusting it based on the horrible cleaning, but no, three days later I received an obnoxious 'chaser' email for an unpaid invoice of 50 pounds. When I wrote them to ask them why they had not sent me the first invoice email they wrote back saying they would look into it but I never heard back on that. It was nice after a terrible cleaning experience to also be harangued for payment of an invoice they never sent me to begin with (and yes, I did check my spam folder!). UPDATE: Their reply below contains MANY inaccuracies. They also contacted me promising me a full refund, but never sent it. AWFUL CLEANERS..

Ocean Clean was recommended to us by a friend for an end of tenancy clean. Got in touch with Ross who responded very quickly with cost for the job. We were happy with price and booked for today. Great job, all white goods cleaned to perfection, tiles and windows sparkling, floors spotless and whole house smelling lovely. Wouldn’t think twice about using again.
